Bangor Car Care RIPPED ME OFF AND LIED ABOUT FIXING IT Brewer, Maine

Bangor Car Care sold my boyfriend and I a 99 mercury 'mystake' not even two months ago. Our truck had just died, and we have a 1 year old we had to get to appointments, and go to work to support. When we signed, the representative Steve verbally assured me that the car was going to last AT LEAST the 2 1/2 years it was going to pay it off, and that it was worth the $6,000 it cost, even though blue book only listed it at $4,00.
Within a month, it began to leak oil, so we made an appointment and brought into their repair shop, which in and of itself was a task: They couldn't get us in for almost 2 weeks, and we both work from 10 til after they close, so we had to make an 8 o'clock appointment. They took TWO AND A HALF HOURS, making us both late for work. They told us that they hadn't replaced it, but had welded a large crack in the oil pan. WITHIN HOURS WE NOTICED IT LEAKING AGAIN.
We brought it to a mercury dealership in Bangor to get a full inspection, and they said that there was absolutely no weld in the pan, and that it was rusted completely through, as well as some broken hanger and a cupped back tire, all of which would cost over $1000 to fix. We returned to BCC, and said that we were displeased with their repair, and Steve had the guts to tell me, "Well, we're selling 50 cars a week so we must be doing something right!"
This past weekend we bought a car, and today we brought back their piece of junk. We closed our bank account(they had direct withdrawal) and changed our number. They cost us a huge black mark on our credit, and I advise anyone thinking of buying from here to RUN AWAY. I would rather buy organs from a man in a trench coat than buy from Glen.
