I am outraged that Bank of America will not bend one inch on the fact that I was charged $280 within a span of 6 days for $35 overdraft fees.  I know that people have written that they have been charged much more.  But, for me, $280 is a lot of money.  In this economy, I am scraping by on a little-more than minimu wage poart time job and public assistance.  $280 is like a brick of gold to me.  What happened is that I got a medical diagnosis that week and had to see a number of speciualists and was on medication - and for the first time - did not check my bank balance in a week, thinking I was covered for things  Then a some small regular charges came in, and all that week I was using my card at Grand Central Station for commuter tickets AND THEY WENT THRU DESPITE 9WHAT I LATE FOND OUT) WAS THAT I HAD A NEGATIVE BALANCE.  I could have corrected this immediately because I had a couple of checks I could have deposited.  So, I foind out my huge overdraft when I finally make a deposit.  NO OFFICER IN TWO BRANCHES WOULD BUDGE - AND ONE LIED TO ME, SAYING THAT THERE WAS A PROGRAM ONLINE FOR PEOPLE IN ECONOMIC HARDSHIP - but they are for people with no jobs.

WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT THIS?  IS THERE ANY LAWYER OUT THERE WILLING TO SUPERVISE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THIS F----G BANK?

How is it the bank's fault that you overdrafted?  If you play it that close every month you should've deposited the checks and waited for them to clear before using the funds. A register is a must.

Why does everyone scream "class action law suit" when they (and they alone) are responsible for screwing up? I guess it's just another case of lack of personal responsibility.

If you kept one and reconciled your monthly bank statement you would not be charged overdraft fees - Remember a debit card is not a CREDIT card -

Also you receive Public assistance - you are spending MY money ie Taxpayers!!! So what?? You see doctors so do I but I know how to manage my money period

As for all the "bank haters" who will post about how you were mistreated - oh well believe them but the facts are still the same - YOU caused this to happen so stop blaming the bank for your actions

If you cannot manage your monies then  close out your account and just use cash

set up to PROTECT the CORRUPT corporations that prey-upon the innocent people in the USA. Many Law Firms in the USA make their money representing CORPORATIONS. The corporations are the ones who have the MONEY. That's WHY innocent people have very little chance of attaining justice in this country anymore.

The system is set up for the ones who have the MONEY. And even if the average person wins a law suit against a corporation, that corporation has the money to appeal the decision. Most Americans don't have the money or the time to fight these cases.

Believe it or not, the Legal System in the USA (much of it) is CORRUPT. Our entire system in America serves the CORRUPT corporations. Even our government serves the CORRUPT corporations. Without the TAX REVENUE coming in from these CORRUPT CORPORATIONS our government would fall apart, as is happening right now. 

Why do you think the government agreed to the $700 BILLION 'TARP' & the $787 BILLION 'stimulus plan'? Much of that money was to ensure that the government didn't COLLAPSE too, wouldn't you agree? People don't realize that the government is basically a BIG CORPORATION too. It needs a lot of money to keep it going. That's why TRILLIONS of DOLLARS have been injected into the 'system'. Sorry to say, it's a CORRUPT 'system'.

Guess what? It's all going to backfire, in my opinion. Here's why- The government is doing very little about the fraud & corruption that exists in the corporate sector. If you 'Google' this- THE WARNING: FRONTLINE PBS, and watch it on the web, you'll understand. Unfortunately, the U.S. economy (most of it) is based on- LIES, DECEPTION, FRAUD, MANIPULATION, GREED, TRICKERY, DEEP CORRUPTION, & the CONSTANT PURSUIT TO FINANCIALLY INJURE THE INNOCENT PEOPLE LIVING HERE, and ALL OVER THE WORLD.

P.S. It's a FACT that the two BIGGEST purchases most Americans make in their lifetime are a HOUSE & a CAR, correct?

All people do Is attack

All stacy does Is attack posters of complaints.   So don't give her 1 minute of her time.

Don't give anyone 1 sec of your time,  If all they are going to do Is attack you.   And blame you for everything.

Bank of america Is not so (innocent).  These are just wealthy people & rich people attacking posters.

Because they think because of their money,  they have the right to treat people like shit.

But they will not listen,  this will just go In 1 ear & out the other.   And they think they are smarter then the rest of us.

They have to make themselves feel good,  buy insulting others.   And blaming them.

Bank of america does screw people.

Just ignore stacy & all the other (A*******).
