I went to Bill Heard Chevrolet to try and purchase a vehicle.

Originally, I was denied because I didn't make enough money. I applied again using a co signer and again was denied by the banks they tried.

The salesman said that I needed to show more income. After a few hours of waiting, I was told to come back when a different manager was in and try the process again using false information. I went back in to see if they had a vehicle within my price range. The salesman falsified the new deal stating that I made $3800 a month and that the employment verification was waived. I only make $1308 a month as shown in my checkstubs. The deal went through to the financial department with me thinking that I would get turned down. I was called in to the dealer ship again to come in and sign a new contract and pay a $700 deposit for GAP insurance that the bank would not cover. I declined to pay the deposit and therefore, the first contract was voided. I then asked the salesman if they could show me some other vehicles that the other banks qualified me for. They said that they couldn't show me anything because the interest rate would be higher. Feeling that their actions were going on under the table, I attempted to leave. I was then told that the dealership would pay for the GAP insurance and they lowered the car payment. I demanded to see what my other options were. I was then told by the floor manager that I could either get my car back or take the lower payment. I declined the lower payment and wanted my trade back.

After hours, they brought over a bank representative who told me that if I didn't sign the new contract with the lower payment, that I was still responsible for the first contract and that the dealership would cash that one in. I was told that I could either sign the new contract with the lower payment or be stuck in the first contract because I signed it.

After hours of being questioned and pursuaded, I was made to feel that I had no choice so, i signed the new contract. There was no employment verification done on this deal which I believe to be falsifying information, or please correct me if I'm wrong.

why did you go looking for a car?

AUTHOR: Damon - Memphis (U.S.A.)

if all you want to do is complain about somebody getting your financed when you have bad credit, why go? Why take that time out of your day and others' day just so you can come on here and complain. There are many people involved in getting somebody a car. Your salesman, your floor manager, your desk manager, your new/used director, your general sales manager, your finance contractor, your finance director. These don't even include the 20 or more people in service that got the car ready. I'm one of the best managers in the business and sometimes I miss things that other people catch. I might look at credt and not like it, where somebody else sees something. It's a team effort and you have every right up until you sigh up to bac out. If you're going to be unhappy after having people do all you have to do is go somewhere elfseee. that's it
