Bob Baker Ford Certified Pre Owned LEMON RIP-OFF Vehicle with Warranty $2,000 worth of repairs not honored ..IMAGINE THAT San Diego California

A 2001 Ford Explorer was purchased as a Certified Pre Owned Vehicle as a condition of Ford Motor Credit Financing. Shortly after this vehicle was purchased, one item that was certified as operational, the speed control, was not working. I notified them and they gave me the run around. Since purchasing this car, I have spent almost $2,000 dollars on repairs that should have been covered under the warranty, sent certified letters to the dealership, and guess what they could care less.

After many hours of my own investigating this LEMON vehicle, the only thing that was covered, was the transmission at 56,000 miles had to be totally replaced. This car was a lease turn back to Ed Butts Ford, in La Puente, California, prior to my purchasing this car. I am declaring since Ed Butts took this car back in after the lease expired....IT HAS TURNED INTO A TURD. In my opinion, I beleive that the odometer cable was disconnected (The cruise control has been replaced at least two times now) to prevent a hefty excessive mileage charge on the lease turn back. IF this car was EVER certified correctly, WHY have I had to replace the transmission and do $2000 worth of work on the engine? I am crying FOUL. The worst part of it is that BOB BAKER FORD seems to think nothing of their BAD CUSTOMER relations. I suggest try another FORD dealership, unless you want a similar RIP-OFF injustice.
