CENTRAL AVENUE CHRYSLER JEEP RIPOFF SCAM DECEPTIVE BEWARE Yonkers New York

My Jeep had a recall on the catalytic converter. I brought it into CENTRAL AVENUE CHRYSLER/JEEP in YONKERS, NEW YORK. They told me that there was nothing wrong with my catalytic converter. They insisted that MY car did not have this problem. As soon as I picked it up the "Check Engine" light went on as I was driving it home. It was NEVER on before. I brought it back to them and they told me that in order for them to "diagnose" the problem they would have to start by charging me $125 and then we would have to go from there.
I told them that the Check Engine light went on because they obviously tampered with something and I shouldn't have to pay for them to diagnose something that they caused. They refused to waive the fee.

Two weeks later when i brought the car into NYS for inspection it failed because of the catalytic converter! When I called CENTRAL AVENUE CHRYSLER/JEEP they told me that they enterred into the computer that the recall was satisfied because they already looked at the car.

I argued with them that they said that there was no problem with the catalytic converter and they fixed NOTHING and that I even had the receipt to prove it. They still insisted that there was nothing wrong with the catalytic coverter. I brought the car to a mechanic to find out what was wrong and he told me the same thing. There was a problem with the catalytic converter. CENTRAL AVENUE CHRYSLER/JEEP still refused to admit they were wrong. It cost me $1200 to fix it because i needed to have it done, but my advic e to ANYONE is to STAY AWAY FROM CENTRAL AVENUE CHRYSLER/JEEP in YONKERS, NEW YORK.

I HAVE READ OTHER RIPOFF REPORTS THAT SAY THE SAME COMPLAINTS AGAINST THEM. THEY TRY TO EXTORT MONEY FROM YOU FOR THEIR ERRORS!!
