It is to my disappointment that after renting cars from ENTERPRISE CAR RENTAL for “several weeks” from October to December 2011…I am charged with a BOGUS CLAIM on return of the vehicle.
When I picked up the vehicle at 4:27 pm from the N. 9th Ave location … the vehicle was WET from a recent wash… color was GREY and it was almost dark and overcast sky ….the manager Ken and I walked around the car to note any existing damages.
Neither of us made note or even looked “above” the windows on this vehicle. Both our attentions were around the bottom of this car… Ken was talking as we inspected the vehicle and I "took his lead" as he inspected the vehicle.
To my regret when I telephoned saying I was returning the car, the N. 9th Ave location of Enterprise directed to turn the car to a different location (Hwy 29).
Ben Pitts scanned this vehicle from every angle / sideway views…as if “looking” for any imperfection. Also, on the return day, the sun was shining and the time was around noon.
The reported “damage” found was high up on the car almost to the top on the side of the car…not visible…until viewed from a side-view. This was a small dent…paint not disturbed…and not noticeable.
I immediately knew that on pick up Ken and I did not even look “up” to this height on this car.
When I attempted to explain to Ben Pitts, he reacted as if I was trying to cover up this supposed damage.
This vehicle was parked in my garage when I was home and I drove it around town working during the day.
I would not mind paying for any damage that I actually incurred….but know with a clear conscience that I did not cause this slight dent.
To make matters even worse…..Ben directed the fellow in the Enterprise shop that the car would be RETIRED as I returned it.
How sad that a company as large as Enterprise would “thank” a customer in this way who gave personal business all these weeks and in past years, as well. These payments were NOT paid by a company…buy by me personally.
No consideration to have a second opinion intercede as I called Ken (N. 9th Ave) who rented the car to me and also after I contacted Enterprise claims’ department talking to Travis after the incident. Email Addresses are NOT valid provided by the forms mailed to me...and I could not locate a good email to contact.
At least I would expect to be heard….. NO MORE BUSINESS WITH ENTERPRISE for me, after this……

We are listening and I want to assist. Please email care[at]enterprise.com with your contact information, rental agreement number, damage claim number (if one was provided), the names of any employees that were part of the damage claim process, and any further details of the incident not covered on the post. Please use "Incident 120203-002185" as the subject of the email so I can tie your email to your case file. (Rich)

Indeed. That is "Criminal Enterprise" for you. That company is biggest bunch of liars and crooks in America. Just how many customers can they expect to screw over and still remain in business ?? It definitely appears that Jack Taylor and his inbred management team have finally gone over the edge.
