My wife received a contest notification indicating that she won one of 4 prizes.  (A $10,000 pre-loaded debit card, Mac iPad, $500 gift card from www.SelectYourGifts.com, or $150 cash)

Upon arriving with her folded notification at the dealership, a sales associate named "Ricoh" greeted us.  After telling Ricoh that I had arrived to claim my $150, Ricoh looked skeptical and told us to follow him inside without unfolding or even looking at the contest notification.

He handed it to his sales manager, who in turn placed the folded notification on his desk and handed me a $500 gift card without looking at the notification either to confirm the prize or even if the correct recipient was claiming it.  I asked how he knew this was the correct prize, the sales manager lied and told me he checked my number.  (Still folded.)

When I asked how he could have checked the notification without opening it, he changed his story and said Ricoh told him what the winning prize was.  After I argued that Ricoh had handed him the notification without saying a word, the sales manager finally admitted that the gift card is the only thing anyone wins and to "not make this personal"! 

An internet research of SelectYourGift.com gift cards shows numerous complaints of individuals who found that the shipping charges exceeded the value of the prizes.  Essentially, you have to pay for your so called "free" shopping spree.  (Google: "SelectYourGifts Scam" or "SelectYourGift Complaints")

Buyer beware of any dealership that partners with fraudulant companies, or employs a sales manager that isn't open and upfront from the beginning!!!!!!!!
