In defense to the illiterate and ignorant ranting from "TruckManiac29", I would like to respond in an intelligent and non-reactionary manner.
TruckManiac29, who has chosen to remain anonymous, claims firstly that "Gibson Truck World does not post the mileage of their trucks".One look at the website and any member of the public can clearly see the miles and price of the vehicles. Judging by the difficulty TruckManiac29 has with literary skills, perhaps the miles and price were not easily understood? Gibson Truck World can only apologize if these glaringly obvious numbers were not understood by TruckManiac29.
Gibson Truck World can only assist TruckManiac29 if informed exactly WHO the sales person was that refused to give out any pertinent information for WEEKS and merely order TruckManiac to visit the store. Obviously, if a truck specialist is unwilling to answer questions over the phone, then that truck specialist should not be working at Gibson Truck World. However, despite WEEKS of apparently being ignored, TruckManiac still took it upon himself to make the trip to Sanford.
TruckManiac29, are you trying to tell Gibson Truck World that their prices are OUTRAGES or outrageous? Regardless, the statement that Gibson Truck World "takes trucks and throws big tires on them" is laughably ignorant, and also slanderous on your part. Can you explain why there are over 200 vehicles on the lot WITHOUT big tires on them? Can you clarify how 5,000 miles on the truck could be classified as "high mileage"? It can only be assumed that you did not see the huge service bay where the certified technicians were diligently working on the trucks to insure the safety of the new owners? Perhaps you were staring at your feet and somehow missed almost 250 of pristine trucks and SUVs (without big tires)... all priced well below blue book, serviced, looking and smelling "as new" for thousands of dollars less than buying brand new ..not to mention the peace of mind GUARANTEE with a 15 day return policy, 12 month bumper to bumper warranty and 12 months FREE MAINTENANCE. If Bob your neighbor is selling a truck for less without being serviced, with no return policy, no maintenance and no warranty .. and you feel comfortable putting your family in Bob's truck and driving all over the USA .. then don't complain when your truck breaks down in the middle of nowhere and you end up having to pay hundreds or even thousands of dollars for the repairs!
If TruckManiac29 was looking at a Monster Truck.. we can only assume that TruckManiac29 is ignorant with regard to what he feels "thousands over book" equates to. For a customized, lifted truck ..there will be NO BLUE BOOK COMPARISON. Perhaps TruckManiac29 would like to Gibson Truck World to clarify the cost of EACH of those BIG TIRES, the pro-comp lift kit, the suspension, the alterations that must be made PROFESSIONALLY by extremely knowledgeable lifted truck specialists to warranty the safety of the lifted vehicle. Gibson Truck World hopes that it is not mandatory to explain to the remainder of the educated truck buying population that the blue book price is based upon the basic, factory model. The expenses incurred to PROFESSIONALLY customize a vehicle will add additional monies on top of Kelley.
It is very strange that TruckManiac claims to have found a "superior truck for less". Apparently the EXACT same truck, same trim, same miles, same warranty, same customization (if applicable) and YET, the owner of Gibson Truck World was not approached regarding this. It is a fact that GIBSON TRUCK WORLD will pay anybody $1000 if they are able to find the EXACT truck for less. In 13 years, nobody has ever been able to find one because the fact of the matter is, apples for apples, there is NOT one out there. TruckManiac29, you are strongly encouraged to stand behind that statement and contact the OWNER of GIBSON TRUCK WORLD with the exact truck you found for $2000 less than the truck you were looking to purchase from Gibson Truck World. It is perplexing at this time as not one truck specialist recalls this situation that you are ranting about, the manager does not recall researching this on behalf of the truck specialist .. and the OWNER most definitely has never heard a word of this. Could this be something you have fabricated? In order to validate you are not a disgruntled automobile dealer or that you are perhaps just a potential customer that could not get financed, or whom failed to negotiate the price of your dream truck to a ridiculously low price.. Gibson Truck World wants the opportunity to defend themselves against your tirade. It is very easy to paste an attack on a corporation, but as your accusations do not hold water, Gibson Truck World will defend itself wholly and completely.
It is also unheard of that a truck specialist will order a customer to leave the premises. If a customer cannot be financed for any reason,or if they are being rude and causing a scene, or if they are hoping to pay $5,000 for a $10,000 truck ..the truck specialist will admit there is nothing further they can do to help, and will wish them all the best in their search. NOBODY IS ORDERED TO LEAVE.
TruckManiac29, Gibson Truck World is sorry to learn of your great 'hatered" (they think you mean "hatred"?) of their very reputable company. They did not get to be the Largest and MOST TRUSTED Used Truck Superstore in the SOUTH EAST, nor recognized by FLORIDA INDEPENDENT DEALERS ASSOCIATION as "The King of Trucks", or even more recently "One of the TOP 100 DEALERS IN THE USA" because they sell "horrible trucks with big tires, that have high miles and priced thousands over book". That, TruckManiac29, is not the formula for success.
Gibson Truck World encourages you to enjoy their TESTIMONIALS pages on their website. Your colorful language and gutter level verbal attack is not suitable for publishing on the internet. However, the internet is a wonderful place for further research and education. It is hoped you learn to use it in a positive and pro-active manner, rather than as a means to spurt out your hateful diatribe. Once you have educated yourself, ascertained your FACTS, stood behind the courage of your convictions, revealed your anonymity and have proved beyond reasonable doubt that Gibson Truck World are the crooks that you portray them to be .. then you should have no problem finding the appropriate agencies to report this supposedly incomprehensible company to.
As for stating that all of Gibson Truck World's 60 wonderful, loyal employees at Gibson Truck World are, and I quote "A HORRIBLE PERSON WITH NO MORALS", your feelings will be shared with these good people. People who work hard for a living, have helped make Gibson Truck World the biggest and the best, and who have families that perhaps might be very affronted by your vicious opinion of them.
I am sure the general public who are reading your reprehensible attack are looking forward to hearing your validations where you can provide FACTS that can disprove any of this rebuttal. In the meantime, Gibson Truck World wishes everybody a happy, PEACEFUL and prosperous New Year!
Merry Christmas, TruckManiac29 .. and to all Nations!
