I purchased a Dodge Dakota from this joke of a dealership. The sticker price and the price on the internet was $7990. They refused to, however, sell me the truck for the sticker price, but rather for $9990. This is against the law. They charged me $595 twice, one for GAP, and one for "Window Etching" according to Ali, the owner. There is no window etching on my vehicle. I called and threatened to sue and was able to get Ali to redo my contract for the lower (sticker) price and to remove the extra $595 mystery charge. I purchased an extended warranty, 24 month, 24k miles, for $1395 from PRCo, which is the same company that my GAP insurance was supposed to be through. Shortly after I bought the truck, I needed to have the water pump replaced, which is covered by the warranty. I called PRCo to set up the repair, and surprise surprise, I had no warranty. I also have no GAP coverage. Ali failed to and ultimately refused to pay for my GAP coverage and my Warranty, but has no problem taking over $2000.00 from me. I sincerely feel that he has done this to countless other people, so, just to be sure, if you bought a warranty or gap coverage from him, chances are it's through PRCo. Call them at 1-800-388-PRCO (7726) to find out. I bet a lot of you have been ripped off like me.
I also have a DUE BILL from Green Light Auto to repair a non-functioning door lock actuator. They purchased a salvaged actuator and installed it (after having my truck for 5 days) and it has failed again. It turns out that Green Light Auto is NOT licensed to do car repairs, contrary to what Ali and Arman have both told me, therefore, I am not comfortable having Green Light's backyard mechanics work on my vehicle. I asked Ali to cover the cost of having my truck properly repaired at a licensed repair facility and he refused. He did however offer to buy another salvaged actuator and have it installed ilegally by his backyard (probably illegal immigrant) "mechanics".
Ali also has signage inside his ghetto Mobile home office stating that he is a member of the Canoga Park chamber of Commerce. I called them. He isn't.
Ali also failed to meet the requirements of providing me with registration within 90 days of the sale. As a result, I was pulled over twice for not having license plates. My truck was impounded, and somehow someway I was able to convince Ali that he needed to pay half of the impound fee, which he did.
Ali does not return phone calls, either to the office or his personal cell phone, and the people in the office lie about him being there.
I would NEVER suggest buying a vehicle from Ali or anyone else at Green Light Auto Sales. They will find some way to rip you off, like they did to me.
