We traded in our 2002 Dodge Durango on 12/20/08 for a 2006 Ford F150. After several weeks of shopping, we were honest and up front with the salesman and told him what we wanted. He stopped the sales tactic's and we began to discuss the trade. Yesterday, Dec. 29th, the salesman called us back in as it were a state of immense urgency to sign a "lemon law" paper and a few other papers. This disrupted our entire day because it was an hour drive for us and we had a full day planned. We went ahead and drove to the dealership. We were met with one attempt after another to fork over 3,000.00 dollars including our trade. After 90 minutes of this, I explained that we wanted our durango back and we would go back to a chevy dealership that offered a nicer and newer truck. about 45 minutes went by and I noticed as we sat in this office waiting, everyone was working with other customers and ignoring us, leaving us to sit. At this point, we got up to leave. A loud argument issued in the main lobby with a dealership full of customers and we were asked to come back into the office. this time, we were handled a bunch of papers to sign and the numbers of both vehicles were completely rearranged. Contracts were shoved at us so quickly to move us out the door. We did not get the chance to read these papers, but at home I found one paper stating we were responsible for the payoff of our Durango. As a taxpayer, I'd vote no to the bail outs. But I'm a nobody in the big government. But apart from feeling abused, and ripped off, all I want is my Durango back and never to do business with Greenway Ford of Orlando again.

#1 Consumer Suggestion

Its Their Fault YOU Didn't Read What You Signed, Right???

AUTHOR: Jim - Orlando (U.S.A.)

Lets get one thing on the table up front....Greenwaay Ford is a SCHLOCK OPERATION. They've been pulling the same SCAMS Bogus Billy Heard did before his $50 million lawsuit from the state of Georgia.

However....

No matter what the SLIME of Greenway did, YOU still have the responsibility to do the COMMON SENSE thing of reading what you were asked to sign BEFORE you picked up a pen!

Greenway Ford is a typical example of the sleazy car business but what you did is just plain stupid...sign papers without reading what you were about to sign or having even a clue as to what they said.

Like I've always said.....Incredible...absolutely incredible!!!

#2 Consumer Suggestion

signing contracts

AUTHOR: Dave - Corona (U.S.A.)

Most but not all conventional car dealerships are crooks. Nobody put a gun to your head to sign the contracts.

You should of walked out of the dealership and gone somewhere else. You should never ever be in a rush sign a major contract like this.

If the dealership was pushing you to hurry up, tell them tough sh**.
