I TRADED IN MY CADILLAC TO PURCHASE THE 2005 FORD EXCURSION 4X4 EDDIE BAUER, WHEN I GOT THE TRUCK IT WAS SO MUCH STUFF THAT NEEDED TO BE FIXED ON THE CAR I SPENT OVER $5000 ON THE TRUCK THE FIRST WEEK. I END UP TAKEN THE TRUCK TO MIAMI FOR PROMOTION REASON AND ENDED UP GETTING STUCK THE CAR WOULD NOT START I HAD TO GET A JUMP AND THE TRUCK STILL WOULDN'T START UP ON TOP OF THAT SOMEONE BROKE IN THE TRUCK TO WHERE I HAD TO GET IT FIX SPENT ANOTHER $10,000 ON THE TRUCK AFTER THAT I PUT A STOP ON THE CHECK BECAUSE THE TRUCK WAS GIVING ME PROBLEMS THE MAN AT THE DEALER TOLD ME THAT HE WOULD FIX THE TRUCK, I BOUGHT THE TRUCK BACK TO THE DEALER AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY NEEDED THE TRUCK BACK BECAUSE I PUT A STOP ON THE FUNDS AND IF I DIDN'T GIVE THEM THE TRUCK THAT THEY WOULD CALL THE POLICE ON ME.
I TOLD THEM THAT IF I WAS TO GIVE THEM THE TRUCK THEN I WANT MY CAR BACK OR THE MONEY FOR THE CAR PLUS WHAT I PUT IN THE TRUCK AS WELL AS MY DOWN PAYMENT THAT I PUT ON THE TRUCK. THEY CALLED THE POLICE ON ME AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WILL GET THE CAR FIX AND THEY WILL CALL ME TO COME PUT UP THE TRUCK THE VERY NEXT DAY THEY TOLD ME THAT I HAD TO PUT SOME MORE MONEY DOWN SO THE CAN FINANCE ME BECAUSE I LOST MY CADILLAC AND I BRING MY MOM TO COME IN TO SIGN FOR THE TRUCK AND THEY TRIED TO GET MY MOM TO SIGN FOR THE TRUCK KNOWING THAT IT WASN'T FIX STILL I PAID $3000 FOR THE TRUCK TO GET TOWED BACK TO THE DEALER SHIP AND NOW THEY DON'T WANT TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK AND THEY SOLD MY CADILLAC AND NOW I'M SEEING THAT THEY TRYING SO SELL THE TRUCK AS WELL. I FEEL THAT I SHOULD EITHER GET THE TRUCK OR THEY HAVE TO GIVE ME MY MONEY FOR THE CADILLAC THAT THEY SOLD AND ALL MY MONEY I SPENT FIXING THE TRUCK AS WELL AS THE DOWN PAYMENT. MR BRAD KNEW THAT THE TRUCK HAD PROBLEM SINCE DAY ONE. BUT THEY WAS TRYING TO MAKE A COME UP OFF ME BECAUSE THEY KNEW I FEEL IN LOVE WITH THE TRUCK THE FIRST DAY I SEEN IT I WAS WILLING TO PURCHASE THE TRUCK AT THAT MOMENT BUT THEY FEEL TO TELL ME THE TRUCK HAD PROBLEMS UNTIL AFTER I HAD IT.

The gentleman that has filed this report has missed a few important details about this transaction. On Saturday he traded an older cadillac in on this excursion and wrote a check for the balance. He wrote the check for the balance after we were unable to obtain financing for him. The following tuesday we found out he had stopped payment on the check. At this point we said he needed to return the truck immediately or immediately remit his balance of approx $29300. The customer complained that there were a few issues with the truck. Huston Motors said they would take care of any issues here at the dealership but he would still have to pay his balance. Weeks went by and many phonecalls.
Finanlly he sent us a check for $23000. We never attempted to cash this check as it was not the proper balance owed to us. We continued to ask him to return the truck. Approx 6 weeks after the truck was originally sold the customer had the truck towed in here on a flatbed. The truck had been broken into and much of the original equipment had been changed out or replaced. The truck had approx 5000 more miles on it when we sold it and had a head gasket problem. Again we offered to fix this problem but we still had to get our money. Long story short we never got our money. We have signed contracts from this man to purchase our truck. He kept the truck and never paid us. The police became involved because of his refusal to pay and to make sure our property was returned to us. In the end the customer signed off on a voluntary repossesion form so we were able to try to resell the truck after that. I understand that Car Dealerships get a bad rap sometimes but in this cas the customer simply didnot pay and tried to keep the vehicle as long as he could.
