Bought a 2004 KIA Sedona minivan from them on 7/23/11 on 7/29/11 van broke down in the middle of the road. Would not stay running when put into gear. We had only driven it 175 miles. $485.00-$1685.00 in repairs needed. No remedy from Lithia. Could have got this kind of service buying a car from somebody in the newspaper. Lithia had to send the van to KIA dealer because there mechanics could not diagnose it. When we removed the seats from the van to make room for some boxes, we uncovered a full grocery bag worth of trash. When you buy from a Deaalership you have a reasonable expectation that the vehicle will be mechanically sound for a least a little while. But that is not the case with a car from Lithia.

We are sorry to hear that you are having problems with your vehicle. As you recall that you purchased a vehicle with over 100000 miles on it and did so As-Is. We do inspect all vehicles for minimum requirements, we can't check for issues that may develop at anytime with the electronics.
We have made efforts to help you with the problem by arranging the vehicle to be diagnosed by trained Kia technicians. We have also offered to pay for the labor, with you paying for the parts. We are also willing to trade you into another vehicle, allowing you the full purchase price for your Kia. Please contact Bob in service if we can be of any other help.
Thank you.
