On 11/09/2007 we traded in a Grey Audi A4 1.8T 2004 and still paying on it and bought a 2003 Acura 3.2TL white from Lester Bafia. If anyone has any info in reguards to these vehicles please call or email. I am paying two cars and only have one of them and I can't even get the title for the Acura I have been following up with the court dates and going too! There will be a trial held in July against the owners they finally showed up in court and the Secretary of state police is fed up with these people like we are also. If anyone has any info please help something needs to be done about this a lot of people's credit is being messed up because of this. Hope to hear from someone! Take care

MCLS, Bridgeview scammed me as well

AUTHOR: Mika - Chicago (U.S.A.)

I traded in two cars for one at MCLS Autos in Bridgeview on 03/27/07 - since the loan to value was high they made me purchase SAFE-GAP total loss protection plan for $695.00. The finance manager informed me that it's the only way for me to get a loan. So, I purchased it... and now on 03/13/09 my vehicle was stolen and has not been recovered. I still have a loan on this car with Wells Fargo Auto Finance, my insurance company paid out a chunk to the loan company since it is a total loss. Once the claim with my insurance company was completed, I filed a claim with Safe-Gap, I sent in all the needed info including front and back copies of the GAP contract. About 10 business days have passed, I called Safe-Gap for an update on the claim and was informed that the claim is denied becuase the dealer never sent in a payment for this plan nor a copy of the contract. It's weird that Wells Fargo Auto Finance knew that I have GAP coverege and they sent them info about the loan, but GAP had no record of me ever having it. Which means that MCLS charged me for this service - protection plan and kept the money for themselves. They never sent payment and screwed me over. Now I have a balance on my loan, don't have the car and need to make payments. This is horrible.... I also read so many testimonials from people about how they screwd them over. One of the owners of MCLS was Lester Bafia, he interviewed with a magazine called EXPRESS where he provided his phone #, so I am providing it: Lester Bafia 708/906-3594 he mentioned that every one of his clients will be satisfied and will resolve every issue. Well, I called him many times, left messeges, but so far have not heard from him. Tha GAP company told me that I have to go after the dealership, and that the balance on the loan is their responsibility since they are the ones that charged me for GAP, never sent in the payment and now I can't even use the service. I can't even find them anymore, I have no idea where to look or what to do. The balance on the loan is about $9,000 and I can't afford to pay this for nothing, and I don't even have that car. Also, I was informed that if they filed bankruptcy then I can do something about this, but if they didn't then I can't go after the dealership, since they just packed up, locked up their doors and left. If anyone knows anything please, please let me know. Something must be done about this, and someone must have some kind of information about them. MCLS and the owners must pay for all this damage that they have caused people. It's just not right. Thank you.

THERE IS HELP AVAILABLE TO YOU!

AUTHOR: msmafa - (United States of America)

Ironically, just this morning I conducted extensive research on the State of Indiana's consumer laws regarding the purchase and sale of used vehicles.  There were literally pages of litigation, court motions and judgements on the exact issue you described in your post.  There is absolutely so much you can do about this.  Go to your states consumer law website and you will find many resources there.  In my case, I went to www.indianalaw.com.  I hope this helps...

THERE IS HOPE...

AUTHOR: msmafa - (United States of America)

Hello again.  I am Mary. I'm sorry but i didn't realize the site for reference in my last commnent wasn't a good site.  To remedy this, I again went to the same research site I discussed to cut and past the exact address where you can find hope.  As mentioned before, I searched in Indiana. On the site that I provide below, you can type in your zip code and reference attorney general's litigation against these bastards and the restitution to people just like you the law provided to consumers regarding these deceptive practices.  I AM COMPELLED TO SAY THERE IS HOPE--DON'T GIVE UP NOW!!!

PLEASE CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW:

http://www.indianaconsumer.com/consumer_guide/lemon_law.asp

FOR THOSE WHO HAVE REQUESTED CONTACTING ME AND WHO MAY BE AT YOUR WITS END ON THE ISSUE, YOU MAY CALL ME AT (((REDACTED))) AND PICK MY BRAIN--I AM NOT AN ATTORNEY, BUT I'VE DONE A LOT OF RESEARCH ON THE MATTER.  MAYBE WE CAN FIND SOME SENSIBLE THINGS TO CONSIDER DOING ABOUT THE SITUATION.  This is not the issue I am having, but after all that I've read about this, it would be a sin not to freely give this information to you.  Who know's maybe someone can help me with my automotive experience that has caused nothing less than constant headaches since the purchase date...

PEACE AND BLESSINGS TO ALL...
