#1 Consumer Comment

Mercedes are designed for Germany- not the frigid north....

AUTHOR: Thomas - Anderson (U.S.A.)

and their reliability data is shown in Consumer Reports charts as being solid black - the worst rating.

You must have exemplary support if, for what ever reason, you simply must drive a Mercedes.

I drive a famous and popular Japanese car because its CR reliability rating is solid red- the best. I prefer a car with the reliability of a simple modern refrigerator because I have no patience for car problems.

So your choices seem simple:

1. Find a more effective and reliable repair service for your Mercedes, or
2. Get a reliable Japanese car.

Maybe the Cartalk "mechanics' files" can help you.
