I paid $1,100.00 down on a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee in May of 2008. I put on the paperwork I signed when buying the vehicle that there was a problem with the brakes. I was told to bring it back in and they would repair them.

After driving the car for no longer than a day I noticed that the transmission was really jerking in to gear. I informed Jim Baldwin at the Camp Bowie location where I purchased it and he told me to bring it in in the morning and I would have it back that afternoon. I was contacted that afternoon and was told it would be four days for the repairs. I asked for a loaner car being that I just bought this car with the assumption that is was reliable. Jim became very rude and hung up on me. Mind you that I am a single mom with a small child.

I picked up the car a noticied that the brakes were still squeaking and the transmission was better but not like it should be. I then again notified Jim and was told that there shouldn't be any problems because I had new brakes and the transmission was rebuilt and that I have a 100,000 mile warranty on the transmission. Now it is making all kinds of noises, not switching gears, and I get whip lash everytime I put it in gear.

I went to a dealership to try and trade it in and was told my credit is good but MCMC had me locked into that vehicle for two years. I called Jim Baldwin today and was told I had A 12,000 mile or 12 month warranty. I then asked him if I could trade it down and he said only if I had a low balance. Well of course I don't because I have only had it 9 months and I am paying over $16,000 for a car that has a trade in value of $4,500.

I have now contacted an attorney and with file any and every suit I can against them. I would not be so upset if they weren't so rude about the situation.
