Like most everyone on here who has written a report regarding Money Bookers, I was sent the same story. In this case the car listed for sale was a 2007 BMW 335i, apparently with only 12,700 miles, clear title, it included the VIN and the price was a stunning $8,900.00. That was the first RED FLAG because this car retails at well over 30k. The second RED FLAG was when I went to vehix.com, inputted the VIN and saw that it had 21 searches done on it. And finally the third RED FLAG, the shipping was going to be paid by the seller. I mean come on!!! The seller would never pay for the shipping especially when selling a car at a 70% discount.

To ensure your safety and avoid being scammed you should do the following as I did.

Reply to the e-mail you have received stating the following.

Due to the great price of the car and also in effort to save the seller money you have decided to purchase a plane ticket and fly to the location where the car is being held. Upon which you will make sure everything checks out and if it does you will pay Money Bookers on the spot. In addition tell them it doesn't matter where in the U.S. it is located because you are looking forward to making a cross country trip, if it is that far, with your significant other as it is something you have always wanted to do.

After you send this I can guarantee you will not receive a response. In the event that you do (by some miracle) receive a response stick to the plan to pick the car up on location. Also tell the seller that there will be no exchange of money until you can see it in person. End the response by saying you look forward to this transaction going through and you hope that by picking it up it will save them some money.

Hope this helps,
