Morristown BMW Run Flat Tire RIP-OFF Morristown, New Jersey

We are (now were) the proud owners of a BMW 600i Convertible, that was leased to us with 4 run flat tires and NO spare tire in the trunk.  We've since had 2 flat tires in May 2011 that were replaced at Morristown BMW (same place that leased us the car) at a cost of $644.65.  Expensive but OK...then last week, July 21, 2011 we got another flat tire, but low and behold it was not a run flat tire that was on our car.  Thus, with no spare tire we couldn't drive the car and were forced to leave it in a parking lot until the next moring and have it towed to Morristown BMW. 

Upon, discussion with Morristown, they admitted that there were NOT run flat tire on our car and offered a half hearted appology and aggreed to put 4 run flat tires on our car at no cost to us.  Then they tried to get us to buy a discounted down from over $300 aliment for $100...which we disputed and yelled at them for even offering, which they quickly agreed to.

All in all, it ended fine...but seemed like a scam to me.  People pay for run flat tires (which are expensive) and the dealership puts on cheap regular tires.  Which when confused with run flats could cause you to damage your rims because you thought you were driving on run flats but weren't.  This scam would then result in you having to get new rims which are super expensive.

I'm suspect of all work at Morristown BMW...
