Muller Honda of Highland Park, Illinois sold me a defective 2006 Honda Accord LX. I bought this car 1 1/2 months ago July 2006, and ever since I bought it, it has not been running properly.

I have been to the dealership twice already and spoken to the new car lease manager, Greg Stone, and he has said that nothing can be done and my car cannot be returned.

First of all, the car doesn't run like a new car, the suspension is very bumpy, the car had scratches when I bought it, the transmission is very hard and not smooth and it rides terrible. I want to report this scam by Muller Honda to Honda Motor Company of North America.

This is not the first time I was scammed and conned by Muller Honda. A few months ago, I use to own a 2001 Honda Accord LX that I sold about 2 months ago before I bought the new Accord mentioned above. I went in for regular service, I told the service Manager, Michael Schwartz that my car was not running smooth. They test drove my car and before even test driving it they told me that my transmission could be bad and that my vehicle is still covered under extended transmission warranty provided by Honda Motor Company. So therefore, this was a good way of Muller Honda to make some quick money from the tranmission warranty from Honda Motor Company which is almost $3500.

In my opinion, the car did not need a new transmission at that time, but service people at Muller Honda insisted that the transmission needs to be replaced so that they can make some money. So they changed the transmission and after few months later, the transmission broke down again and this time it broke down for real. It made a loud cranking noise so I took it again to Muller Honda and they said that they will change the transmission again since it is still covered under the Honda Warranty. So they changed the transmission again and than few weeks later I sold the car so that I did not want to transmission to break down again.

So after selling the 2001 Accord, I mistakenly bought 2006 Accord from Muller Honda again. and guess what, this time they sold me a defective new Honda Accord.

I will be filing a formal complaint with Honda Motor Company about the fraudalent practices of Muller Honda, and I would like to be compensated somehow. I need Honda Motor Company to take back my 2006 Accord since it is defective and also I would like Honda Motor Company to look into the fraudalent practices of Muller Honda of deceiving their customers (like they did with me with selling defective new car and also misleading me about the tranmission in my old 2001 Honda Accord.

I would like customers to be very CAREFUL of Muller Honda of Highland Park, Illinois. and I would suggest do not buy a car from them or take your car in for service.

Just want to make sure I understand the facts...

AUTHOR: John - Roseville (U.S.A.)

1) You had prior problems with this dealership, yet you choose to deal with them again. Then you purchased a vehicle that you knew rode poorly (you did take a test drive i presume?) and had scratches on it when you bought it.

2) You just sold a vehicle that you felt was a transmission problem waiting to happen...did YOU disclose this to the buyer? If so, I apologize in advance for bringing this up. If not, perhaps we'll see a report on you files shortly...for selling a vehicle with a known defect without disclosure.

JMHO!

I Think They're Great

AUTHOR: Notoriousscrat - Marion (U.S.A.)

Well, I bought my Subaru there, and I've had nothing but luck with it. They sold me a great car at a price way below blue book and they basically gave me a two year extended warranty on it. I saw the price of it on the screen and in order to give me car payments I could afford they actually didn't make a dime on it. This after deducting 200 bucks from my purchase because I was from down state and could not use their personal one year warranty.

As to your mistake. You're an idiot for buying a car you didn't like and car dealerships don't return cars. Period. There's a manufacturer's warranty on it. That's your insurance on a new car. Make them fix it until you're satisfied and it won't cost you a cent.

As far as your transmission repair, you're an idiot there too. Of course they had a guess about what it was even before driving it. You'd told them the symptoms and unless you described them badly, that should be pointing them in the right direction. Also, what do you care about them telling you it was a transmission problem? It didn't cost you a cent and it never would have unless it had worn out for normal extended use.

This guy pays nothing for repairs so he gets rid of his car. Then he buys a new car he hates and bitches about that.
