Neil Marcellino owner of Automotive Network Connection of Florida listed a 1991 Toyota Camry on eBay as having 91,401 miles and as rust and problem free. He even showed a photo of the odometer. There were about 20 photos of a beautiful shiny car that looked like it had been stored in a garage its whole life! We wired him $3546.00 to pay for the car and shipping.
When we picked up the car it was obviously rusty and repainted without primer. The driver's door is rusting from the inside and a body shop says nothing can save the door. A Carfax report shows the actual mileage as 174,340 as of a YEAR ago. The body shop determined the value of the car to be only $1100.00 based on condition and mileage.
Two auto shipping companies in Florida now refuse to ship cars for him. He opened a new company on 9/21/2006; Flamingo Joes Auto Sales of Miami Beach, Florida.
Here is a website I created about the incident:

It has resources to help other victims of odometer fraud.

Neil Marcellino of Automotive Network Connection had an eBay listing of a 1991 Toyota Camry with 20 beautiful pictures including one of the odometer showing 91,401 miles. He claimed the car was rust and problem fee. When we got the car it was obviously repainted over rust with no preparation.
I had to replace the radiator cap and add coolant before I could drive it home from the shippers. We paid $3546.00 for the car and shipping. The driver's door is so badly rusted on the inside that a body shop says it will probably rust through in about 3 months.
I did a Carfax report and found that the car had 174,340 miles on it A YEAR AGO. He opened a new auto dealership on 9/21/2006; Flamingo Joes Auto Sales in

Odometer tampering is a federal offense. Regardless if he had prior knowledge of it or not, he is still at fault for not researching the car before selling it to you. By law, he must refund your money.

We tried to report him to the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration - Odometer Fraud Division. Woulde you believe that it stops being a criminal offense when a car is over 10 years old?
Contact your congressman and senator we need the limits pushed back. The title records on this car show the 174,340 miles and it is easy for a dealer to check. He knew and he knows he is a liar and a cheat.
