Phipps Auto Sales Selling mechanically flawed used cars and will not fix problems. Total rip off. STEER CLEAR!!! Lithonia, Georgia

I purchased a used car from Phipps Auto dealers on May 26, 2011.  Within the first week I had many issues with the car.  The bearings were shot in the front wheels. The key would not fit the trunk or the passenger side door.  The tires they gave me were of 4 different makes and models.  Then the kicker, the transmission went bad and I had to rebuild. All within a 10 day period.  During the rebuild of the transmission, I found out the mileage had been rolled back and the car had been in an accident, knocking the alignment out and possibly damaging the .  This dealer is not interested in looking out for their consumer.  They are in the business only to make a quick dollar and do not practice ethical business principles.  I called the dealer after each event and gave them an opportunity to fix the problems while expressing my anger at their ineptitude to treat their customers fairly and with proper business practices.  I am also looking into the legality of their sales practices, as they sold me the car at a wholesale price with no taxes, as I am not a business entity and possess no tax ID number.  Overall, the experience at Phipps was, and is, as bad as it gets.
