They leased me a brand knew car. Within one week the brakes started squeeking very loud. I called them and they said that saab was aware of the problem. THEN WHY DIDN'T THEY TELL ME BEFORE I GOT THE STINKIN' CAR???!!! On top of that now the car is giving me a "mobile stabilizer" problem. I've only had the car for 35 days now.

Yes, there is a brake squeak problem; this has been acknowledged by Saab

AUTHOR: Rick - Ardmore (U.S.A.)

I am assuming your leased a 2003 or 2004 Saab 9-3 Sport Sedan.

Yes, there is a brake squeak problem; this has been acknowledged by Saab, and there is a consumer satifaction campaign to correct it at no charge. If your dealer ignores this, you should call Saab custmer service - the number is in your owner's manual and on the saabusa.com website.

As far as the warning light on your dash, you should take it in for service. There are a number of kinks in the elctrnics in the new generation 9-3; it is a complicated piece of machinery, and I think maybe it was rushed to market just a bit too soon. Obviously, this would be covered under your warranty, and Saab policy is to provide a loaner car while yours is being fixed, so the inconvenience should be minimal.
