Mr. Shelly is solely responsible for his disgraceful business record that has hurt tens of thousands of customers over the decades, remember only about 01% of customers actually take the time to file a complaint. Mr. Shelly will have to explain to his daughter why he has several Unanswered Complaints to the BBB and flat out to a customer to (F) off by refusing to make an adjustment.

(Mr. Shelly to his naive 18 yr daughter) Honey, we cannot answer those complaints to the BBB, as we may accidentally incriminate ourselves, that's why we have lawyers on retainer for sweetheart, no let daddy do what he does best and you go shopping. As for refusing to make an adjustment, we have every right. (Daughter) How come the BBB dinged us for it? (Mr. Shelly) The BBB has to play both sides of the fence or they wouldn't be in business.

(Daughter) Those criminals, lets sue them, I hate the BBB.


We purchased our new 7 series BMW from SHELLY BMW who also owns/operates IRVINE BMW as well. One night we were driving back from Big Bear Lake and hit a huge piece of wood in the road that bent my new cars $700.00 wheel and caused considerable damage to the front suspension.

Since we purchased our car from Shelly BMW, we had it towed to their facility. The service manager had given me his word that since we had purchased the car from them he would have an estimate ready before the weekend and begin to order the parts immediately the same day.

When we got there on Monday our new car was dirty in the corner parking lot and no estimate and/or parts were ordered. We were furious and they didn't really seem to care due to the fact that they were so busy. It took 2 whole days just to get an estimate done and when I looked at the inflamed invoice, they had charged $132.00 just for the mechanic to inspect the car, which is taken off when the client chooses to do the work. I asked the Shelly Representative, do you take this off when you do the $3,000 work on my car. Answer: No we do not, that's our mechanics time.

When I saw this and the outrageous inflamed estimate, I used BMW Roadside Service and towed my new car to another BMW dealership.

The we went to www.bbb.org and typed in SHELLY BMW and we were shocked!!!! Shelly BMW held the lowest possible rating/score of an (F) with the BBB which is DISGRACEFUL.

If anyone has problems with these two dealerships, you are to write a very complete/detailed complaint to the BMW of North America, for they control the number of BMW's per year these scum get and they would like to hear from you. By definition, the General Manager is a CRIMINAL...look at their shamful record....this red (F) just slapped me in my face when it came up on the screen.

Why didn't you buy from Beverly Hills? Why are you shopping where the poor people go?

I know there's a BMW dealership on Wilshire. You get treated like royalty in Beverly Hills businesses. I used to live there when I had more money.

So, why did you drive all the way down to where the poor people live and shop to buy your car?

Obviously, you won't be getting white glove treatment or service in Buena Park.

Don't start a big war with a junkyard. Take your car back and send it over to a nice place. They'll provide a loaner while the service is being done. Plus, it'll get fixed right.

Trying to save a few bucks by driving far away, to a bad part of town is usually a mistake.

Remember the old saying: you get what you pay for.
