we porchased a jeep grand cherokee and the dealer arranged for the installation of running boards by an after market installer
the board moved since it was not apparently installed properly it was tightened into place
we were told it was fine and not defective
a friend of ours eventually had the suv on a lift and told us the brackets were bent and should be replaced as it could be a serious safety issue
we have called and emailed all the senior personnel at shuman and they first said they would inspect it themselves and since they were responsible for the initial installation make sure it was handled
this has never been followed up by them and after repeated attempts to make these arrangements we feel that they are now totally ignoring the issue and we continue to be driving an suv with a potential serious safety issue
we do not understand how such a 'reputable' dealer can traet its customers so badly

- Is that anything like "Lamborghini"ing a Chevy?
are now totally ignoring the issue and we continue to be driving an suv with a potential serious safety issue
- How come your friend didn't just remove the running boards when he had it on the lift?

Since you quite obviously can't write better than a third grade level, perhaps you should just explain all this to the nearest grade schooler and let them write it out. Guaranteed, they would use capital letters and punctuation while avoiding run on sentences!

" we continue to be driving an suv with a potential serious safety issue "
Why didn't you have them removed? By continuing to drive a vehicle that you are aware of having a "serious safety issue", you are opening quite a can of worms. If there were to be an incident and someone was injured, do you know who the finger would point at? That would be you. The person that publicly posted that they knew of a safety issue, yet continued to operate the vehicle. That kind of recklessness is not taken lightly by courts.
Drive safely.
