It is the Dealerships job to inform you on the product you are intrested in and try to sell the product they have invested in. To be mad at a dealer for being upside down in your loan is not responsible. You may have a high intrest rate-long term or some other way for you to save money every month but all that savings is at your exspense. I say do your research know what you are buying and your finacial obligation before you sign your name because after you sign your name it is 100% your responsibility dont depend on someone else to bail you out.

I have never ever ask anyone to bail me out! I was brought up in a time that use to be customer appreciation and customer loyality was top priority. You see you dont know all the information. I purchased the Kia in may 2007, In Dec 2007 I went to Heritage Nissian and Purchased a New 2008 Nissian Sentra fully loaded sun roof,CD changer alum wheels top of the line stero You dont even have to have the key in switch to start,Well guess what It was 3000.00 cheaper than the Kia and the intrest rate was 2% less than the Kia. I have Nothing but Good Things to say about Heritage Nissian. They treated me like they wanted a customer for life not just a dollar in there pocket. And accutally they tried to get me out of the Kia and could of but with me being so upside down my payments was just going to be to High. I will continue to send customers to Heritage Nissian as I have sent quiet a few already. And all I can say is Terry Reid Kia could of got the same if they would of only wanted customers and not just money. By the way I have had my car nearly 2 years and have always made my payments ontime so if I had wanted someone to bail me out I would of give it up. Im not that type of person

Your update actually cleared things up more than the original post did. As near as I can tell. You bought a car, and 6 months later are upset at the original dealership because they won't let you out of the deal so you can get a better car. Sorry but this is not a RipOff..here is why.
A car is NOT an investment. As soon as you sign "on the dotted line" of a new car the car has already lost a couple thousand dollars in value. In a normal car loan(unless you put down a huge downpayment), you are going to be upside down for about 3/4 of the length of the loan. If you felt that they charged you to much to begin with, then you shouldn't have gotten the car. But if your only basis on this is that you are upside down, you are incorrect.
As for the interest rate, this does not sound out of the ordinary. You are comparing a loan you got 6/7 months before with the one you could have gotten. 2% is really minimal. In that time bank rates could have changed and with 6/7 months of on-time payments were a positive to your credit. Both of which could easily account for a 2% drop.
Also, dealers will tell you anything to make you think they are on your side, but they are NOT. This dealer will of course knock any deal that you got from somewhere else. I've even had salespeople knock deals that THEIR dealership did a few years before. If you got the other car and did the same thing 6 months later at a different dealer. The next dealer would have said the exact same thing to you about how upside down you are and how you got a horrible interest rate. So in your future dealings don't let your guard down..dealers are NOT on your side.
