Triad Financial Corporation Unfair & Unusual Business Practices North Richland Hills Texas

I purchased a 2006 Ford Mustang from a ford dealership in Decatur, GA at the end of March of 2006. I paid ok until I had to have emergency surgery at the end of January of 2008.

Before the surgery I was told by a Triad representative that I had made the necessary number of payments, and was eligible for a loan extension. However, immediately after having surgery, I spoke with another Triad representative an extention request, and was told NO, YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE!!

After about 1 month, I returned to work and tried to work with Triad to no avail (the vehicle was repossessed). Out of all of the vehicles I have purchased, both new and used, I have never seen anything like this. How are they turning a profit? Whos monitoring this company and its practices? Are the financial records of this company disclosed in the county courts in states where they are allowed to do business.

My vehicle was picked up on March 18, 2008 and the payment required to reinstate my contract per the reinstatement agreement is due by March 29,2008. I have gotten nothing but the run around from this company and I fear that once the funds have been submitted to Triad for reinstatement, they will once again renege on the agreement.

Are the Car Dealers knowingly participating in this scam? I am hoping that I can rebound from this at which time I plan to contact the Governers office of Consumer affairs in my state, in hopes of making Triad Financial Corporation a company UNABLE TO DO BUSINESS IN GEORGIA!!
