The company baited me into a differed down payment scam, when I missed one payment and went behind by 3 weeks during Christmas, the dealership called me and threatened to call the police and report it stolen (not legal). Then they asked me to come down and make arraignments, so I had to travel 50 miles to the dealership with my wife and 2 kids, just for them to take possession of the vehicle and tell me I had to pay $800 to take it, I offered $400 and told them I would pay the balance the following Friday but they didn't work with me instead stranded my family and i fifty miles away from home. When I requested my down payment (minus mileage) they refused, even though I hadn't entered into the new contract as they stated because I never signed it yet. Snakes. Dishonest Snakes. Beware. I want my down payment ($1300 dollars minus mileage back or next its a lawsuit.
I want my down payment (minus mileage) $950 back!

This all started because YOU were late on this subprime loan. YOU had to be financed by a subprime dealer because YOU have a history of not paying your bills on time. You never learn, do you??? I guess the reason you were repo'ed is their fault and you are entitled to the car even though YOU don't pay YOUR bills. They aren't required to "work" with anybody. YOU agreed in writing to make ALL payments on time, everytime. YOU failed to live up to YOUR financial obligations AGAIN and they don't want you as a customer anymore because they know quite obviously, YOU don't pay YOUR bills on time.
Now then, enjoy your subprime life.
Oh yes, since you have so-o-o much money to pay a lawyer to sue (which you will not win) then why didn't you use that money to pay the amount they wanted?
