My wife and I went into Trussville Mazda to look at a car for her. Spent 3 hours trying to work on a deal and they just couldn't get to where we wanted them. So we decided we would try another Mazda dealer. The salesman that helped us @ Trussville Mazda was Barry Brown. So we moved onto Med-Center Mazda in Pelham, where they worked with us, made a great deal for her, and then I also bought a car. Yes, 2 cars, $50,000 deal, 1 day, 1 salesman (Thank-You Med Center). So we both drive our cars home on a Saturday, then on Monday she receives a call from Barry Brown (Salesman @ Trussville) and he decided he would tell her that A) They gave us a bad deal (He looked it up or called a "friend" at the other dealership) B) Said that his deal was so much better C) Told her that the other dealership just worked the numbers and we fell for it. Details of the 2 deals: Trussville: Red Mazda 3, plain jane no extras. Med-Center: Red Mazda 3, sunroof, spoiler, custom wheels, 6 disc changer. Same price as the other and we got a bad deal. Tried to work with VP to get something done, basically treated us the same. All he said was "we don't encourage or foster this type of activity" Tried to make up for it. Then tried to sell me another car for an outrageous price. ($8,000.00 Above Cost on same car MazdaSpeed 3 that i bought, only different color). Then after that after we had another person call (their phone marketing) asking us if we were still interested In buying a car, call was around 9:30 P.M. on a Sunday night, how ridiculous. In short, 2 harassing calls after we decided not to buy a car, told us we got ripped off, when we got the same deal for a better car, tried to make up for it (very badly) and then still tried to get us with there phone solicitations. Worst carbuying experience I have ever had. Disgusted me.
