Ugly Duckling Car Sales Aka DriveTime Initial rip-off is now haunting me ripoff business from hell Atlanta Georgia

When I was 18 I purchased my first car through Ugly Duckling Car Sales. I did not really know what I was doing. I gave them my tax documents and traded in an old 78' Corolla in exchange for a 90' Cavalier.

Only having the car for 3 weeks I started experiencing problems with the car. I lived an hour away from the dealership so I could not get it towed to be fixed. Ugly Duckling offered no help. I ended up putting in a new starter, a new alternator, and the car still would not start.

About a week after my purchase my best friend informed me that the company was on the news for selling lemons. Wish I would have seen it before I bought the car.

The following week I was incarcerated for a couple of months, subsequently, Ugly Duckling repo'd their piece of junk and I had no say in it at all.

5 years later the mistakes of my past are haunting me. I received a letter from Glen Associates Mid Atlantic, Inc. informing me that I am responsible for $4,225.04 for a lemon sold to me. I do not know what to do.

Am I really responsible for 4k to a company that no longer exists in Georgia? And the 4k is the difference in what they auctioned the car for and what they were charging me for.

THIS ALL HAPPENED IN LESS THAN 3 MONTHS TIME!! So obviously the car wasn't in running condition when the auctioned it.
