Ugly Duckling Car Sales ripoff dishonest lying Tampa Florida

First of all, they lie to you saying that they make their prices affordable for their customers. Price for my car before interest was close to 200% above blue book when I bought it, if not more. Second of all, they say they will work with you. Yeah, they call you when you are a day late and harrass you from then on until you make a payment.

It does not matter if you are having problems with the car or any other financial problems, most other companies I deal with work with me and I end up paying them in full. Not Ugly Duckling, they don't understand. They are rude on the phone, harrass you at home, at work and even call the refferences you listed that knew you when buying the car who have nothing to do with the whole deal.

This happens after three days you are late. They are disorganized, you make payment arrangements with one person, next day another rep calls you to collect. They are unproffessional, you ask for a manager and they hang up on you. You try to work with them and they tell you to either make a post dated check by phone, come in and make same or come in and drop THEIR car off.

I understand that cars will have maintenance issues that will eventually go wrong, but one thing after another, happening every other week... Put it this way, my car was worth approx $3,000 to $3,500 when I bought it, they charged me approx $8,500 before APR, with APR approx $12,900. I have paid 2 years so far, still another year to pay it off, still upside down on the car, cost in repairs approx $2,700 to date.

I will never do business with such company again and will never reccomend them to anyone I like or DISLIKE for that instance. The experience I have had with them has been horrible.

I cannot wait to finish paying my car off so I won't have to deal with them again. If you read this and are planning to buy from them, DON'T, you will regret it.
