after seeing this site on a bumper of a car i decided to look at it today.
first off if i know first hand from working there.
your the only person to blame. if you bought a car at viking it was because they were the only ones that could get you financed.
when you owe more then your cars worth you still have to pay that neg off. this is why your bottom line price changes. it because you still owe money on the car you traded in. that money has to be added to the bottom line.
i sold 3 cars to a family. all 3 parties fresh out of bankruptcy. they couldn't finance a gum ball yet viking got them all in cars and the drove home happy.
you make mistakes in your life that leaves no choice but to buy a car from dealer like viking. be happy they are here. you can always walk to work

Bill, I find this very interesting. See, we have purchased two vehicles from Viking. A 2002 Durango in 4/2004 and a 2002 Dodge Ram in 2006. Due to some maintenance issues with the Ram we began to get a sour taste in our mouths over the purchase of the Ram. My wife purchased it for me as a birthday present a year ago. After reading the reports on this site we decided to take a closer look at the contract my wife signed. They submitted financing in the amount of $12,994, despite the fact that the purchase price on the vehicle was $10,995. When she questioned it, she was told that that was showing the financed dollars. Should she have know better? Absolutely. Should she have had to have known better? Absolutely not.
And guess what, Bill...there was no trade-in. So where did this additional $2000 come from? I was upside down on my non-existent trade-in? The car this truck replaced was paid off, and sold separately because we couldn't get enough value for it on trade-in.
The difference? I've got documents showing the actual purchase price, and the one we were charged. I just need to decide whether to take this to Viking Dodge to allow them to correct their "mistake", or take it directly to my lawyer to make them pay.
I'd be interested to hear how Viking did me a "favor" on this one, Bill.
