I bought my 2002 Passat at the end of February. Every week in July I had to take it in for the Check Engine Light came on.

They eventually had a technician come out from VW of America (b/c I had gone thru the Better Business Bureau's Lemon Law Process) and replace my emissions system. Supposedly this was to work. Then last week the car starts jerking/mis-firing and then thelight comes on again.

it has been in the dealership 3 days in the last five days! The problem is not solved and I am getting the run around from VW of America. It is rediculous that it is barely 6 months old and I have been to the dealership at least a dozen times for this car!
