Dear Sir, I have recently moved to the Woodlands area. I have been riding or involved with Harley motorcycles for near 30 years.Every year I take multiple trips up to two weeks at a time usually 60 days a year.I ride every day rain, sun, cold or shine. Most of my trips are with 4-6 friends. We deliberately go to other dealerships to check them out and get pins/shirts to commemorate our rides.

I have a vast collection of black shirts and jackets ranging from California to Florida. I do like to visit my local/home shop which is now the Woodlands location. I recently bought a great used bike at your shop and paid cash. The problem is your management there is way to stiff. It doesn't have the Harley family feel or atmosphere.I did have a problem with the bad attitude from Brian in service.

He needs people skills training. The general manager Dave just happened to ask me how I liked the bike?At the time I had no clue he was the GM. I told him about the problem and that I was about to ask for my bike and money back.He disappeared never to be seen again. He needs to attend people skills class 101 also. I have had the opportunity to visit your store in Conroe also. They, even with the storm problems and reconstruction transition, have a much more home "Harley" feeling than the Woodlands store.

I have spent a ton of money at the Woodlands store as well as meeting and getting to know some of the employees away from the store. Very nice people. All I have heard is that they are afraid to say anything to Dave or someone named Ralph. The store could be the best ! It has the location and the general staff. But to be honest with you the management is not what Harley needs. I have heard this from other riders as well, and I meet a lot of them.

Why are the prices for discounted merchandise cheaper at Texan than at the Woodlands? I bought 3 jackets in the Woodlands just under $1,000.00 when I found the same jackets at Texan for about $300.00 cheaper?. Look, you built it, people will come; just make it fun. I could spend money there every month! Come on, get with it.Unfortunately the management there, to put it bluntly "sucks", and its hurting your employees and it shows.

You are about to lose a great employee because of a customer, Don Larson, feels that it is ok to grope her every time he comes into the store. Management and other employees are aware of the problem. Groping is a form of sexual assault. Customers are important but the employees are the center of the Harley family and need to be protected. I have never met you and I have nothing to lose by expressing what you should know. I can say your employees are not happy and its not about the pay for once.

Mr. Moore, pull your lower employees aside now and then and ask them what they think. You are missing some good ideas and good people. By and large they all like their jobs but are afraid to make suggestions. Maybe it's because Harley is new to your management team and they don't get it! Let's get them out of the executive mind set and intothe pride and fun of Harley. They need to know its not GM or Ford; its a way of life. They should be excited to come to work! They have the best jobs.

The Woodlands store has an image of being made up, to bottom line. It feels fake. Texan is smaller but it has a riders feel to it. This is what other riders and I have talked about. My hat is off to the Texan folks keep up the good work!!!! Its an American tradition and its one of the last ones we have...... Mr Moore. I wanted you to be aware of the problem I have had at the Woodlands location and I don't get what it is. I have spent near $15,000.00 at that location in the months of Sept/Oct. I traded in a 95 Electra Glide and purchased a 03 Super glide many accessories and other items. On Tuesday of this week I rode to the store with the express purpose of purchasing an extreme painted tin set for my 03 Super glide around $3000.00 plus other parts and labor.

I arrived around 11:30 am at the service department and spoke with Todd about making some custom changes on my bike like changing the tank to a 5.1 gallon wide glide with the custom paint, Ted was also involved in the conversation. I was advised by both to ask the parts guys to look at a catalog to see if any were available. I went to the parts department and spoke with Brent and after researching the changes I wanted to make it was found that the tank I wanted would not fit my super glide and I could not get a custom paint set for it.

So while pondering the situation I found a 2007 Dyna low rider with 73000 miles a little rough but priced at 9000.00.Sounded like a fair trade? I saw that Ron "sales" was in service when I arrived, I went back and asked him if he wanted to sell another bike to me? He said he was in the middle of getting one done. I explained why and that the low rider was a good Idea because I could by more parts for customizing it to my liking. He then took me to Chads office telling me that he had some older paint sets that might fit my bike that he was trying to move.

Chad was in the office with Brent and another. Ron left me waiting at the office door and said he would be right back. Chad told me the same thing that none were available. Ron never came back! When I came out he was buffing/stripping the floors!!!! I went back and asked Ron to find out what the numbers would look like with me trading in my 03 with 14000 miles for the low rider. I paid $6800.00 trade plus $4000.00 cash for mine total $10.800.00 plus seat, windshield, pegs, grips and allot of chrome. I waited 2.5 hours with no answer!

Ron walked by and said he had to ask Julie? about it because she had the numbers. I watched them strip the floors and move stuff around while I just looked around with no help or answers."I felt at that point they were not interested in selling anything" So while I was waiting in the parts area my fiance' Wendy approached me and told me "Nicole told her to tell me it was better if Wendy told me rather than Nicole that I was not to be wandering in the secured areas.

I was taken by Ron to Chads office I did not nor would I wander behind the counters. This did bother me and I confronted Nicole about it and I believe the situation was handled then and there. My complaint is this!, here it is Thursday and I have yet to be contacted about the bike sale. My phone call to you was in reference to the no help with the sale. You can look and see I have no problem spending money.

You know as well as I do custom parts are a big part of the business. I feel as if I hit a dead end with my Super Glide that's why I was interested in the low rider. But I am in the computer and they could have gotten in touch with me or even given the information to Wendy. As I see it they don't care about the customers or making a sale and they still don't get it!.I still spent around $100.00 that day after being treated like crap.I left at 2:30 pm with no answers....

I even went so far as to call the Conroe store to see if they could transfer the low rider there so I could possibly purchase it from them. On a good note we had a great time at the party and I met some very nice people. I even spent a couple hundred there and was a designated driver. I will not do anymore business with the Woodlands location!!! a ride to Houston is OK in my book!! any ride is good..... Thank you for your time

Honestly, I have not found a more hospitable local dealership. In fact, they have gone out of their way to help me customize a bike that was not purchased from the Woodlands. I find the staff to be completely competent and curtious.

There iisn't that much distance between Conroe and the Woodlands. Make the drive and quit talking  about how much money you spend. Your not unusual or special. Even the poorest Harley rider spends a lot of money but don't feel the need to let eveyone know.
