monronuffler doing what asked not to do saranac lake , New York

At the time that this rip off occuered this writer was just a college student with little money to be throwng away...I went to monro muffler because my car needed to pass inspection and the service engine light was on. Well we all know what a pain that is with the new NY state laws.  I told the man at the counter that i simply wanted a diagnostic test done so that I would know what had to be fixed for it to pass. I specificly asked for them not to inspect it because I knew it wasnt going to pass, and then I would be driving a car with no inspection.

 Well about 15 minutes later the man comes out with a paper as long as my arm of things wrong with my car, another paper saying my car failed the inspection, and a bill for about $80!!! So they ripped off my inspection sticker billed me $80!! & I left crying!......

Future adivse if you need a diagnostic test done go to advanced auto there is one in saranac lake NY also and its free!!! They we also very helpful, they cam eout to my car and did the test for me & helped me out on understanding what I had to do to pass my cars inpection. Turns out I only needed a sensor that cost about $20 and a friend of my was able to put the sensor in for me.
