I took my truck to Precision Tune Auto Care because I was not passing the emmision inspection. The Manger insured me that he could take care of this , I was told to take my truck on the interstate to the Palmetto exit and return to the shop ,which I did . The manager checked the truck again and said that I should take the truck to the mall behind the shop and drive around the parking lot four( 4) times ,this I did also . When I return to the shop the check engine light was no longer on . I was very happy about this . The Manager said ( you will have to run your car through another emission inspection ,because the owner does not like it when we make all the monies and she make none ) I said that fine ,he said you will have to leave your car for about 45 minutes ,I said I have to go back to work I will pick it up when I get off .
When I got off work around 5:15 pm I went straight to Precision Tune to get my truck . When I got there he started my truck and I asked him why did my truck sound so ruff and this is when he said that my truck had ran hot while he did a test drive on the interstate . He told me he had put in water and antifreeze. He said that after that the truck had started to smoke out the oil and he said that he did not know why this had happen . He then said that I should leave the truck so that he could change the oil the next day . He metion that he saw me get dropped off and asked me how far I lived away I said 15 minutes . He told me that it would be okay to get me home ,just bring it back in the morning .
The Truck quit inthe middle of the road and there was not one drop of water in the Radiator. The truck had to be towed to my home and a nice Guy gave me a ride home . The truck is still there and I have spoke with the Manager 5 times about it and the owner 3 times . I feel that he is a Manager and he should know that it was not safe to let me take the truck home , also he should have known that he had not put any water into the truck Radaitor ,but instead into the oil . I am employed part time and my husband is diying of Cancer I need my truck to go to work and get him to the Doctor . e have three girls to take care of ,I have spend over 600.00 dollars renting a car to get to work . Please help me to make these people do the right thing and fix my Truck .
