Daimler Chrysler Defective heating & cooling system Auburn Hills Michigan

I own a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee that overall I am very pleased with and would buy another except for the problems I am now experiencing for the second time. The heating and air conditioning system has a wiring harness that is unable to safely handle the load needed to operate the blower motor resistor. When I had it repaired the first time I informed the mecanic that the problem I was experiencing resulted from a poor connection to the blower motor resister. Wiggling it would activate the blower again. This just isn't convenient in rush hour traffic as it is unreachable from the driver seat. The mechanic told me it required the entire dash to be removed and the condenser, evaporator, blend doors motors blower motor resistor and wiring harness. After spending $1800. I assumed the problem was corrected. WRONG. Two years later the same problem is back. There are several blogs with hunderds of identical complaints. My wiring was melted causing a serious danger to myself and any passengers. Not only are the original parts defective but any original manufacturers parts you purchase to resolve their problem is also defective. Pass it on to us your loyal customers nowing your product is defective, shame on you. There are hundreds of people discussing this on blogs all with the same problems and spending our hard earned money on your short comings while you stand there with your hand out for our tax payer bailout money. Maybe we should turn our back on you !!!!
