FORD MOTOR COMPANY Failed to recall a defctive cruise control switch that resulted in two deaths and has done nothing for the families Flint Texas

Ford Motor Company failed to issue a complete recall for the defective cruise control switch. The cruise control switch was placed in vehicles back in the early nineties. It took 14 years !!!! for my car to be recalled, and 8 months after Payton and Samantha Ely burned. I was ripped-off. I carried and gave birth to a healthy baby boy. I changed his diapers, got up with him when he was sick Schooled him, worked with him on his projects all to have it ripped away.Raising a child for 22 years is a big commitment one I made whole heartedly. I have been ripped-off from grandchildren Payton will never be able to give me. Our families dreams have been ripped off. 

Just because you had a son to die because of a malfunction doesn't mean they should have a recall.  Was it a brand new car or did it have an owner or two before your son got it?  Just because a few cars may have had something wrong with them doesn't mean Ford should have to spend millions of dollars recalling their vehicles.  They have to know for sure that a large number of vehicles have the exact same problem. 

You need to get your facts straight before you come here and spew a bunch of crap just cause you are mad.  I don't believe for one second that a faulty cruise control module caused a car to burn to the ground.  The only thing in a cruise control module is air, yes air.  The air is created by the vacuum hose coming off of the intake manifold.  

You are the kind of person that makes a mountain out of a mole hill.  You want everybody to feel sorry for you so you lie and make it look like it happens to everybody.  I see people like you every day. 

In response, To the poster that is calling me names, As, I appreciate  that you lean on the side of Ford. But, to let you know , Ford did do the recall admitted that the speed deactivation switch was a safety hazard . Ford's own scientific evidence convinced them. So , I guess that is the response to your non- belief that a cruise control switch can cause a fire. 

The as family of (Samantha Gene Ely) on the wrongful death case, have come to into agreement Ford ( undisclosed amount) during mediation in Detroit Michigan, Eastern District. Ford should be at least commended for this act of social responsibility.

Is this really an appropriate approx. statement to say to a severely depressed, grieving mother that is suffers from PTSD also. After 2 days on the witness stand as if I was the killer , I walked away wanting to kill myself. My family was destroyed over this stupid $21 defective car part! We will never be the same. I feel like I am only doing what my son Payton would have done for me, fight for justice. He didn't deserve to burn alive and he doesn't deserve to be dis-respected in death.
Up-date Dykema attorney's for Ford Motor Company have offered to do me a favor; drop the 117K of sanctions now filed with the county clerk if I sign all my claims away. And I was kindly with a smile advised by Andrew McGeniuss that the firm will go after Payton's House and sell it, and take  half and give my deceased ex-husbands wife the other half. I declined the offer. Leaving my case in the hands of the Detroit Judge to whether Payton deserves the right to even have a trial in Texas where it case was originally filed.
