Apple Transmission I wanted to rebuild my transmission. They told me to try a used one instead. Reseda California

I insisted on rebuilding my 5 speed transmission. They told me to try a used one first and if I didn't like it they would get me a rebuilt one. When I went in to the shop....I had a problem shifting into 2nd gear.

After they supposedly changed my transmission with a used one; there was the same exact problem. They said they needed to rebuild my shifter for another $80. I paid for the shifter rebuild. I returned.....told them the same problem---I couldn't get into 2nd gear. They said I must "break in the shifter bushings". I returned to the shop 11 times in 2 years and they said they would do a test drive. 11 times they drove my car around saying there is no problem. Then the 12th time I returned they told me the warranty expired a year ago. To this day I still have trouble shifting into 2nd gear which most likely means that they sold me my own transmission.

By the time I contacted B.A.R.; I was told it was too long ago for them to do anything. I found out from B.A.R. that this shop lost their license about a year before I took my car to them. And they reopened under the name of some relative.
