On 3/5/09 while driving my recently purchased used 2005 Chevy Trailblazer with my husband, the truck suddenly lost power as I was going through a busy intersection. Luckily we were going fast enough to roll into a shopping center. My husband jumped out and knew something was wrong. He walked to the driver's side and was horrified by what he say. He opened the door and dragged me and the dog out and told us to get away. When I looked, 30 gallons of fuel was pouring from the fuel line of the truck. We avoided serious tragedy that day for sure.

Four weeks prior to this, we had purchased this truck from the Auto Gallery in Corona, CA. They promised the truck was in good working order and that they would back that up. As we suspected, the truck did have a few "bugs" notably the fuel gauge registered empty and the fuel light stayed on even when the tank was full. We mentioned this to them and brought it back for a simple repair. A day later, the truck was all better and we resumed our lives.

While in the shop for 6 days, the Chevy mechanic was shocked when he discovered the reason for the problem. During the fuel gauge repair, the Auto Gallery Mechanic, improperly removed and replaced the fuel line and gas tank. In doing so, he broke a vital part, the C Clamp, which holds the fuel line onto the gas tank. Instead of thinking about human safety, he thought about saving money and decided to wrap tape around a pressurized fuel line thinking that would fix everything. As we know now, probably not the best idea. Anyone purchasing a car from Auto Gallery DO NOT let them do any repair work on the vehicle. We are now trying to collect the money we are out for the repair, lost wages for the day, fuel and the rental car. We haven't even made the first car payment yet!!!

Quality cars and a Quality dealership!

AUTHOR: bill o - (United States of America)

I've bought many cars from Auto Gallery. They have 100's of quality cars in stock at all times. I've gotten much service done there and only had positive experiences. The previous report seems to be nothing but a bunch of bull, most likely from one of their competitors. Can you imagine a company in california having gone through an event like that? they wouldn't be in business! I say check the company out, ask one of the customer service clerks to give you a tour of the place and form your own impressions.  From what I've compared, they seem to be the Number 1 pre-owned dealership in the orange county / inland empire area.

Recent Purchase at Auto Gallery in corona ca

AUTHOR: MOXLEY10 - PERRIS (United States of America)

Recently bought a car from them, there customer service sucks, they dont explain the contracts
they had me wait in the tables, while the finance manager printed the contract however he wanted without asking if i wanted the extra insurance coverage that cost $2.500, he made me sign
without explaining, after i reviewd my contract i told him that i wanted to re write my contract
and to remove that extra coverage insurance, so they did the payment went down 55 dollars, but they never submitted the new rewritten contract with the bank so know the bank says i owe them
the extra 2.500 because they paid that to the dealer, i have called the sale manager twice ,going on my second payment and still they have not filed the new contact with the bank. this just happened in april 2011

That seems to be your fault

AUTHOR: Ben - redlands (United States of America)

First of all if you buying a vehicle be smart enough to read the contract before signing. I f you dont like the contract then ask right then and there to re do it. Dont leave the dealer with a contract sighned that you dont agree on. because now thats your fault and it seems to me you just jumped into it and didnt know wht you were doing. You signed a contract, and you just werent happy or couldnt pay it. If you didnt agree why would you even start paying it, without a new contract.. Your story seems a little shady to me.

I have purchased a vehicle at Auto Gallery in Corona, And honestly I have taken my car there for service for about two years now and I dont have any complaints, I dont believe that they used duck tape!! come on, thats just dumb and wouldnt ity be more serious outcome. I think that was a competitor and was a complete fony. I wouldnt believ that from any dealership.

Not True

AUTHOR: jess - riverside (United States of America)

I know this is supposed to be a rip off website, but i was reading that report on the service sucks..Thats not true auto gallery is actually one of the few dealers that had great service, they are fast, nice and get you pretty much excalty what you wanted when you walk in. I bought my car from them when they were on 6th street and it was small but a great selection, and great service. I got the car I wanted cheaper then I wouldve at any other dealer. I have nothing negative to say about this dealer, I think its timing and maybe you just didnt get what you wanted because you didnt know what you were doing maybe.

These guys ARE VERY SHADY!!!

AUTHOR: Bryan C. - Corona (USA)

My Neice bought a car from this dealership about 2-3 months ago and because she is young and has a low credit score the salesman tells her that the only way he can finance her is by using a "buddy" of his that works at a finance company, and for this "favor" that he's gonna do for her he must charge her an "extra $250 fee" (which i find out is highly illegal) so he hides it on the contract by listing it as "accessories" and their servicing of the cars they sell is just as shady!!! she's been waiting for them to fix the a/c and replace the worn out rear shocks, theres no way they could have inspected or even test driven this car.

wow

AUTHOR: Ben - redlands (United States of America)

well it seems your niece is very nieve if she let this happen, if this was true which i dont believe, your probably a competing dealer..but if she did then that is the dumbest thing i heard, it sounds to me like she screwed herself. But i dought any of this is true anyways.
