Brakes Plus ripped me off with high prices Plano Texas

I went in for regular maintenance and to have my brakes checked. I knew that my brakes needed work on. So after they check the car, they tell me I needed new Rotors, Calipers, and new pads on front. They give me a price of $688 which I knew I couldn't afford. I told them that I would take it elsewhere to check but they stated that I was driving on metal and it would not be safe. I have never had to deal with car problems while I was married so now being single I have no idea. They told me to sign the estimate which they briefly showed me and proceeded to work on the car. When the car is done and I have to go pay the bill, which they gave me $50 discount that seems like they give everyone they rip off, I really got to look at the bill. They went ahead and gave me the most expensive pads they had in stock and everything else. I was so upset that I even told the man that I thought it was a rip off. I was so dissapointed with how the car places go around ripping people off because they know who they can take advantage of. I'm disgusted that I allowed them to do this to me but I guess you live and you learn. I'm here to warn everyone to be careful of this place as they have several locations throughout town.
