MARTY INSIDE"THE MOTOR CAR"

A friend recomended Marty to fix my cars suspension problem. I had already taken it to Sears and Marty said that he could beat there price. I dropped my car off with him and left for work(after listening to him bad mouth the friend who refered him to me and the mechanics at Sears). There is so much to say about this incident so I will keep it really simple. Marty went ahead and did work on my car that I never outhorized him to. Marty charged me $1200 to fix my car and did not do all the work that he charged me for. The work that he did do was not done properly and I had to have it redone. Marty was supposto to use all factory parts but did not. When I asked him for my old parts he said that he didn't have all of them. When I told him that I was on my way to get my car, he said that it wasn't a good time becouse it went out to lunch and he didn't know when it would return. At the same time he said he wasn't sure exactly what was wrong with it becouse he never took it on a test drive.When the car finally did return from lunch a guy got out of my car with a box that is used to carry a tripple beam scale.I brought the car in becouuse it needed both struts and both strut mounts(that was the only problem)Marty did one strut mount.I was very unhappy and didn't want to pay him but was told that if I wanted my car back that I had to pay. I was also given an illigal reciept I was never charged taxes on work done,$1200 is the only dollar amount shown on the reciept. Nothing was itiemized so I have no idea what I paid for. I was left with a $1200 bill and a car that still has obvious suspension problems. Don't ever go to Marty's iside"the motor car"
