I chose Tires Plus in Watertown, SD roughly two years ago for an oil change. I chose them because they were inexpensive. However, they are also cheap. When I got my car back I just didn't feel right about it. The lady at the counter was rude and the guys were less than hospitable. The whole place just reeked of injustice.
When I got my car back, the A/C no longer worked on 3, 2, or 1. It only worked on 0, 4, and full blown (5). I also noticed a decrease in performance in my car. I can't quite put a finger on it, but it seemed as if it had less octane.
When I went in to tell them about it, they said they had nothing to do with the A/C. I exclaimed that it worked fine before they f!@#ked with it. The mechanic came out and said I didn't know what I was talking about. I said, "if you guys are going to rip people off, I'm going to tell other people not to come here." And they told me to go ahead and laughed as I walked out the door.
Those guys are f@#king idiots. I would avoid all tires plus stores...they are crooked.

How can you pass judgement on an entire company based on one bad experience at one location?? You explain to me how doing an oil change causes your blower motor to quit working?? You are a typical moron who knows nothing about cars and blames repair shops for your own ignorance. You also explained that you only go there because their oil change is cheap, cheap is an operative word here. In the future why don't you do your own oil changes.... IT WOULD BE CHEAPER!!

I dont see how an oil change can mess up your ac either, unless they were phucking around with your car which is highly likely. But they can control their attitude, that says alot about a place. I bet ry works for em, or at leasts shills for em. Just see his other response:

Looks like he has the same attitude you encountered at the store. hmm.
He is right about one thing though. Changing your own oil will save you from these bad experiences and you will know it was actually changed.

There is no way an oil change is going to cause problems described in your report. It sounds like your car needs a tune up and a diagnostic to see why your fan control is not working correctly. Tires Plus is not the cause of the problem, it sounds like normal wear and tear due to age and use of your vehicle.
