Auto Zone needs to be exposed for the scam artists they are and shut down and driven out of business.

They sell "refurbished" parts that perhaps haven't been refurbished at all but are just cleaned up on the outside and put into a new box and sold. Almost everything I bought from them has failed and has had to be replaced immediately. I'm talking about an a/c compressor, brake rotors, drive gears, shock absorbers and windshield wipers. So, not only did I have to buy parts twice , but I had to pay for their installation twice. The Attorneys General in all the states where they are located need to be alerted to this despicable company and their unscrupulous practices.

You should have gotten your money back

If the parts are defective you should have gotten your money back. Also why are you buying parts and then having someone else install them? Of course they are going to charge you for multiple installations. You should have bought the part of the people doing the install then it would have been their problem. I buy from Autozone all the time with no issues but only buy parts that me or friends will be installing. If we can't do the install we have all the work and parts done by a shop.

If you didn't get money back for a defective part you need to contact Autozone management. Also if you have issues with refurbished parts why not buy new? I mean other then a few really expensive parts it's not worth the cost difference to buy the used part. I mean seriously is 10-20 dollars savings worth it?

AutoZone does not sell remanufactured brake rotors, shocks, or wiper blades.
