Auto Zone - Unpaid wages Cape Girardeau, Missouri

I worked a short 3 or so weeks at Auto Zone during the month of October 2009. Due to this being a second job and a single mother, I had to quit due to the manager's constantly scheduling while I had my children in my care.

Upon agreeing to work part-time at Auto Zone, I was told that working around my small children's schedules would not be an issue. I had to continuously have my schedule changed because I was being scheduled to work at times that conflicted with the children and Auto Zone was aware of this.

One time, I even wrote down specifically for an entire month of what dates I was available to work and they still got my schedule all messed up. Another time, I was on the phone with a manager and told her that I had my children during Halloween weekend and was unable to work, do you know that she scheduled me anyways on the 30th, 31st and 1st..... Trying to get them to work with my other schedule was more of a headache than anything.

So I received one paycheck from Auto Zone with a whopping 10 hours on it, mind you during the weekend of 8th, I worked at least 15 hours. It is aggravating because everytime I call the local store, I am told Jason isn't there. I leave a message for him to return my call and he never has and I continue to call back. I then also call the HR person, Dawn and she isn't there either and leave messages with the secretary but Dawn has never called back either.

When I talk with payroll, they tell me to contact my local DM. I feel like a cat chasing my tail...
