I had ordered a part for a classic Cadillac I'm restoring, and was assured that I would receive email pics of the part before shipping to confirm that the part was correct.  Also assured I would not be charged until the part was confirmed and shipped.

 

I called every couple of days to check on the status and was told to “be patient”.  Over 2 weeks go by – ridiculous.  I then called again,and was transferred and put on hold several times, and finally was hung up on. I called again to cancel the order since I was getting zero customer service .  Of course, then I’m told the part has already been shipped, and the pics were never sent, and I find that my credit card had been charged the 1st day I called. 

 

The part that eventually arrived was of poor quality - no wonder they didn't send a picture!

 

There’s plenty of other places to find parts and get treated with good customer service.  All they had to do was what we agreed to over the phone in the 1st place, but that didn’t happen.

 

I sent an email to let them know that I have disputed the charge with my bank, but feel that it's better to warn others about doing business with them. 

 

I then get an email back from "Hans" at the "Fraud Department" (even though his email address was listed as the Owner, Tom Godecki - red flag?), accusing me of lying and scamming them - flat out denied that they would ever agree to send email pics of parts before shipping. Hans went on to tell me that I should have read the fine print discalimers on their website, etc.  I never even looked at their website - only called from an ad placed in Hemming's Motor News.

 

These guys are selling poor quality parts, misrepresented as new old stock or othewise high quality -  at jacked up prices - quick buck "take the money and run" operation. Stay away!
