ImportPartsPlus.com Takes your money but never sends you product Cortez Colorado

On January 31, 2002 I ordered $597.40 of parts from ImportPartsPlus.com. The order included fog lights, headlight bulbs, and a performace air filter. The immediate next day, the website went down and I received no e-mail or anything confirming my order. The money was taken from my account but I had no further confirmation. I tried to contact the company but they would not return e-mail and have no published phone number on their website.

After two weeks I discovered the website was actually owned and operated by one individual named William Glenn and that he doesn't actually inventory product but rather acts as a middle man. Around this same time the website miraculously reapperaed on the net after being down for two weeks. After several days trying, I was able to speak to Mr. Glenn on 2/21/02 and he assured me that my parts were on order.

By March 4, 2002 I became increasingly worried because I still had no further information on my order. I attempted to contact Mr. Glenn by phone, e-mail, and instant message but he would not respond. On March 5th I contacted the manufacturer of the air filter and asked if Mr. Glenn had made any recent orders. They informed me that he hadn't ordered anything in over 6 months. This meant he hadn't even ordered my product!

According to the ImportPartsPlus.com website your order will be received within 1-5 weeks. March 7th was officially my 5th week. I have contacted Paypal (the company I sent the money thru) and they do not help with any transactions older than 30 days. At this point I am filing lawsuit for $597.40 plus court costs and interest against ImportPartsPlus.com.

Since my order I have also discovered many others who have been burnt by ImportPartsPlus.com. If you need automotive parts, I suggest you shop from a reputable vendor.
