went to the savage store and wayne keeran took the truck in and had an employee put it on lift, after listening to wayne for about an hour making excuses he ask me to go to the back to see how bad my balljoints were,he tried with all he had to make them move and they did not move at all. I told him I only wanted the tires replaced;as they were under warranty (50,000)and told him I would have someone at a other shop look at the balljoints.
His reply was "NO If I dont replace them (by the way the price was 650 bucks) then I wont replace the tires! Now this mad my wife angry and told this wayne she thinks he is trying to rip us off well....at this point wayne rushes at her and yells "get out of my store"! We wanted to go but they had our truck still on the lift. my wife went to the parking lot were the trucks was being backed out and started to walk toward the truck the employee saw her started the truck and drove towards her all the while she kept telling him to stop and came close to hitting her drove to the front door locking the truck so she still couldnt get in.I got the keys and told them I was going to the brunsville store.
The manager of that store told me he was to busy to look at the tires; I told everyone in the store if your here for tires come look at my tires and what they look like after 11,000 miles one year duelers bridgestone a/t and the service I AM GETTING. he told me "YOu have one minute to leave" In the end I had the truck checked in apple valley and the ball joints were not bad and did get the tires replaced: after 8 hours thats service for ya!

If you only have 11K miles on them, and they are worn out/wearing unevenly, you have something in the front end/back end/both that is worn out also.
I'll be reading your post next year about how the other tire store ripped you off when they don't replace your tires for free after another 11K miles.

So just because Bob has mechanical knowledge he 'must' work with/for them and is a rip off.
I know you don't know this-and there are no Tire Plus around here so I have no vested interest in them. This is merely an example.
Late '90 generation 2 Dodge trucks have/had terrible ball joints. The problem really showed up if you put a plow on the truck. So when the truck went to a shop with only 10,000-20,000-30,000 miles with worn tires and the trucks needed ball joints then it was a rip off?
No reason to bash people who have knowledge in a given field just because it doesn't fit your agenda.
Why did you need tires at only 11,000 miles anyway?

There is not enough time in the day, nor area to write a repsonse here for this nonsense. Simply stated, we showed him very slight play and told him it was not worth replacing at this time. His wife lunged at me, almost over the counter. At that time Glen kicked his own wife out of the store and wanted to do the work anyway. His wife ran at their vehicle when it was being pulled out of the shop, somehow this is almost running her over. After leaving here, he went to another store and got kicked out for being beligerent. After that, believe it or not he went to yet another store and had all the work done that he says he did not need. Then he sued us. Make sense of that.

You said your truck is 1 year old.
Why did you buy new tires for a 1 year old vehicle? Were they worn out? If so did you ever question why???
If they really are worn out after 11,000 miles there is something else wrong with the vehicle.
I have had Firestone/Bridgestone tires on all my vehicles for years with no problems with them.

Hey wayne,do you really believe that crap you write. the tires were bought at your store one year ago;all we wanted you to do was back up what you sell! YOU told us are ball joints were bad and like I said YOU REFUSED to give us tires Unless of course you replaced the balljoints.(650.00).YOU cHarged at my wife screaming GET OUT OF MY STORE,and why? she wanted a other store to look at these balljoints.
MY wife waited in the parking lot (couldnt wait in the store) Your well trained employee drove the truck right at her missing her by INCHS maybe the cigarette smoke was in his eyes! The apple valley tiresplus said "the balljoints were not bad;could go for another year or so they put the tires on ;but to replace them would 125.00.I Did some checking many of the tireplus do not staff properly trained technicians majority of there alignment techs or installers as there called have one day of alignment training that is more of a sells pitch than anything.
they do not have any real form of training to their techs all the classes they offer are usually held by parts warehouses and are mainly sales pitches. And yes the police report states how you and your employee became agressive, abusive when we refused to buy unneeded parts. see you in court!

With only 11K miles on the vehicle, WHY does it need new tires at all?
The answer is still obvious...because it has something WRONG with it.
Wayne's version of events seems more plausible, especially in light of Glenn's latest quote.
"The apple valley tiresplus said "the balljoints were not bad;could go for another year or so they put the tires on ;but to replace them would 125.00."
How EXACTLY did another mechanic know how long the ball joints would last? And what vehicle out there can have two or more ball joints replaced for $125? Finally, since the ball joints would be covered by the manufacturer's warranty, why wouldn't Glenn go to the Dealership when his tires wore out so quickly?
NOTHING about Glenn's story makes sense, and with good reason. It's hard to repeat the same tale twice, when none of it is true.
BTW...the police report will state ANYTHING you tell the cops. If you tell them Martians came down and probed you, the cop will write that down. I would suggest you ignore the police report, as your testimony needs to be an exact duplicate of it. When you go off on a tangent(which you will do as witnessed by your posts), the Judge will toss your claim out.
Good luck though...you'll need it...especially if Wayne prints out copies of this thread and shows the Judge that NOBODY believes you.

come on Glenn
I agree with a previous poster that you are overexaggerating a little bit. I highly doubt the technician had any intentions of running your wife over. It is customary to return the keys to the service writer only to ensure that your bill has been payed and you understand the recommendations they had for your vehicle.
Secondly, your wife should have waited in the customer waiting area while her vehicle was being pulled out of the shop, for her own personal safety. (I highly doubt they'd make her go stand in the cold and let YOU stay in the shop and flip out)
My other question is..when you went to the Apple Valley store and they told you your ball joints were fine and replaced your tires, did they check the alignment? If so, was it out? If so, did you have it aligned?
I personally feel that you took the situation a little to far, blew a fuse, causing the management at the store to make you leave (obviously you were throwing a tantrum). I think if you would have stayed calm (even if you didn't think your ball joints were out) and just left and went to another store, or maybe even the dealer if the vehicle was only a year old, and got a second opinion, this wouldn't be such a messy situation...law suits and all, thats bogus Glenn.
ps--I belicve Wayne handled the situation the best he could considering the customers mental state..

First of all, we know that the employees down at Tires Plus are paid on commission, which is why the one time I went to Tires Plus in Maple Grove I was badgered for more than 10 minutes about buying new tires for my car. After refusing to buy them, I went to Discount Tire Co., where employees are paid hourly. After actually taking the time to measure the tread on my tires they informed me that my tires were fine and I wouldn't need them replaced for at least another 6 months. So I totally believe Glenn's comment on Wayne trying to talk him into buying unneeded parts. And Wayne, Glenn did not say that he got all the unneeded work done. He only got his tires replaced, which is all he was hoping for at your store in the first place. He didn't end up getting his ball joints replaced like you tried talking him into. I feel for you Glenn. I know how exhausting it can be when big businesses are constantly trying to steal your hard-earned money. Good Luck with your lawsuit.

and they "informed" me that I needed ball joints in my truck. Which was funny because I had just bought $400 worth of tires and was talking to my b/f in the waiting room about how much we had to spend on them. Well, while they were replacing them, they suddenly found out that I needed ball joints which were coincidently going to cost another $6oo or so, and the guy was going to give me a little discount because I had just bought tires there and he knew that I didn't have much more to spend because I had kids and all. I had recieved a settlement for about $1100 and was talking to my b/f in the waiting room while picking out the tires and suspect that is the cause of the bad ball joints. I bought the tires about a year ago, I still haven't replaced the ball joints which could go out at any moment in their opinion.

The tech also told the balljoints would be good for another year but while he had it apart he would replace them for 125.He was a honest man. You like everyone that works for tiresplus missed the point You cannot continue to lie ,do bad work and treat people like you do at the savage store.
Talk to the apple valley store maybe they can give you some courses in treating people with bad tires right and just replace them. The court is about lieing about the balljoints about to fall off and nearly running my wife over.

I'm going to hazard a guess here. You changed the tires and/or wheels in violation of the truck's warranty and couldn't go back to the dealer. They were oversize tires and/or wheels which put a load on the suspension that the truck wasn't designed for, thereby wearing out your joints prematurely and voiding your vehicle's warranty. If that's the case, be sure to have your wheel bearings checked too, because trouble is coming.
Never let your wife jump into your business dealings and throw a fit, especially in an automotive environment. It makes you look like a real wimp to people like Robert (joking) and they won't want your business.

He said no.ONLY if you replace the balljoints. 650.00 My wife told him she would sign a paper holding him not responseable. He said NO and flipped ran at her like a bull kicked her out of the store yelling with spit fying from his mouth. You certainly can't blame anyone for worn suspension parts at 51,000 miles especially if they "weren't needed" yet you had the replaced anyway. So, your complaint and repeated story of how your wife was allegedly almost run over are laughable now.

the customer is why we all have jobs and to treat one like these people have been treated whithout penalty would be a sad day in america.
To you in New Jersy give me a brake do you even have a clue 11,000 or 51,000 miles those ball joints better not be common to go out. Those tires should have been replaced with a simple mentioning about the ball joints.Quality costermer service and good people would have prevailed over demanding they have the service done and running people down. Tires Plus and anyone who supports them on this needs a good lesson in quality automative service and customer care because Im sad to say you failed far below unacceptable.SHAME ON YOU. go get your money Glenn My shop and I know you deserve it.

Try again. Reread the whole actual thread-especially the reply I made of a FACT related to Dodge trucks (and that's only one example) and then read how ridiculous your reply is. Mileage is not a determination of longevity of parts other mitigating factors are. That's where this whole complaint falls on it's own face. Alleged facts have already been skewed.

The mileage of the vehicle has quintupled, and the reason for replacing the ball joints is on it's 3rd or 4th revision.
Now, the joints were replaced for no reason, other than they could be done for $125. Good reason to replace a perfectly good ball joint.
Everything on my car is perfect. I think I'll replace all of the parts anyway. Why not? There's nothing wrong with them.
My liver and heart are in good working order. I think I'll get on the organ recipient list. Since mine work fine, I know they need to be replaced.
I hope Court TV starts doing small claims coverage. This case could be their ratings winner. Of course, they would have to call it FRIVOLOUS claims court. BTW, in order to prevail in court, you have to show damages. What damages have you incurred? You paid NOTHING, and got NOTHING.
Your claim will be dismissed with all due prejudice.

Glenn do not be concerned with what some people write about your situation. Some will give their opinions and state them just like they were standing with you at Tires Plus when it happened. When in fact they are 1500 miles away and don't know squat. What matters will be what the Judge says in court after hearing both sides, if there are going to be 2 sides. It may be that Tires Plus will be a no show and if that happens you will win by default. Please post what the court decides, and good luck. Remember Tires Plus sucks.

Try not changing your story each, and every time you post.
You have yet to stick to one story in all of your missives.
People notice these things. So do Judges. This is why you will lose in Court. The Judge will expect you to maintain one tale, not chaenge it up every few minutes as the plot takes a bad turn.

Hope he has phone records cause once again you will see he is dishonest and a scammer. To ROBTARD ;the story stays the same you are getting your ripoff site mixed up so many to watch. Robtard do you remember the little school bus you rode on ? and everybody sang "the wheels on the bus go round and round and you and john sang the wheels on the bus go flat flat flat. you were gone 28 days; rehab I hope. Stay on the meds and maybe the outer space people will leave you alone. remember they probed you last time. When you go out to save the tire world do you wear a cape or just a tire over your head?

Just had to respond to this.
Robert is right, you do keep changing your story.
Also if the original story is correct then why was your wife not standing on the sidewalk? Why was she in the street to be hit?
I've been the wife in situations where my husband has gotten mad at a mechanic and I have left (on my own accord at him being such an a**) and they have gotten upset and drove his car erractically but I had the good sense to keep myself outside yet right next to the building so I wouldn't even be in a position to be hit.
that's just common sense, I do the same while waiting for a car driven by my husband, my mother, valets etc.
Why was she in a place where she could have been hit by a car?
If she had been hit by someone coming in with problems with their brakes and was in the road who would you blame then?

Me running though the streets half crazed out of my mind right after juming on the counter inside the store. I am not crazy nor am I stupid. The judge will decide. What amazes me the most is the extreme in which tire companys will go though not to refund your money. They had to put a number on the back of receits to call when you have a problem. 'someone will call you back in two days"nobody EVER calls you back. And ya know why; they couldnt care less they got your money. But you can only treat people that way for so long. First off yes, some businesses do sell their name to other people, it's called a privately owned franchise.
McDonald's does it, as well as 7-11, most gas stations, etc. They pay a very large sum to be allowed to use the name, sell the products, but at the same time have NOTHING else to do with the corporate entity.
I'm still wondering about why your wife was where she could be hit, since yes I stay clear of ANY moving car. IE, in a parking lot I will wait and let a car pull out, I will wait until the street is clear because crossing while not at a streetlight (even if it means waiting for several minutes).
It's not that I am hiding scared, it's just COMMON SENSE to avoid being hit by a car to me. As my mother has always told me, do not put yourself into a situation where you may be hurt. (be it a car or just normal life experience) it works all of the time.

There is many more of US then them and I smell a class action!

He went there because his tires were wearing/worn out. He was told he needed new ball joints, and that's why the tires weren't going to be warranteed. He insists the ball joints are fine.
Afterwards, he goes to another tire store, and has the ball joints replaced. He claims he had them replaced because they were done CHEAP. Uh huh.
Now Michelle, try and use a little bit of common sense in this. Pretend you own the vehicle. Are you going to spend money replacing something that is not bad, like...say...the ball joints?
If you have an IQ above that of a stone, you would not.
Glenn paid to replace them because the other shop also showed him they were bad, and told him there would be no warranty on the tires he bought there if they weren't replaced.
DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH!!!!!
Glenn suffered no injury of any sort(other than his wounded pride), and will have his case dismissed.

I do not sit in my house scared about life. The reason I put anytown, and other was at the time I didn't live in the US or on an army post, although I did live on what was considered american property (Government Leased housing) so I didn't feel comfortable putting my APO, (because I did NOT live there).
Okay now that's settled what about having common sense not to be in the street when there is a sidewalk available or not getting into a car with a stranger, etc. is now suddenly being scared to go anywhere? I walk places all of the time, but I would prefer to cross the street twice to walk on the sidewalk rather than in the street, so I must be so scared that I do not leave my house?
Which would you rather do? Walk in the street of a two lane road or walk on the side with the sidewalk? (I guess from your response to me that you would walk in the street and then sue anyone who hit you even though you had a way to walk that was off the street).

--And Miss Amanda and your fun with Google, I switched it up a little and put "tires plus good" in the search and got 1,250,000 in .17 seconds. So what are you trying to prove?
--And to all you women out there complaining about how men take advantage of you, don't sit online and complain. If you feel that someone is pressuring you because you're a woman, flat out tell them how you feel. Let's have it Glenn. Scan and post your Judgement against them.
You got none.
Now, the story is Tires Plus paid(notice how it's spelled?) you off before the trial. Sure. They paid you off just so the frivolous case would not be heard. Obviously they'll pay you rather than have the Judge toss out your case. That's also why people who were there say the Judge told you something. Was it "stop wasting the Courts time with your frivolous lawsuits"? Companies only make settlements before trial if there is even the slightest chance of losing. They had nothing to fear with yours.
If you want to pretend they paid you off, scan and post the payoff check.
You got nothing.
You suffered no injury of any type, and having the work done by another shop eliminated your argument the work was not needed. Nobody believes you had perfectly good parts replaced. Your cheering section in this thread is just you under other names. Your lack of grammar, and spelling did you in. The mere fact that your story changes from one moment to the next, helps everyone except you.
Start scanning.

Thanks to everyone who has posted on this thread-it is one of the most strangely entertaining flame wars I have ever had the misfortune to read. Kind of like The Dukes of Hazzard, combined with "pro" wrestling, The People's Court, and Jerry Springer, all cobbled together with a ball (joint) peen hammer. The incoherence of it all "boggles one". I truly felt brain cells dying off as I read it, at an even faster rate than normal for living in the Land of the Hanging Chad.
That said, I have had tons of scam pitches for unecessary services at many automotive shops, including Tires Plus. I went in for the $99 four-wheel brake special once, and they wanted >$500 for new drums, calipers, rotors and the asphalt-cobalt ratio. This was after I told them we were selling the car soon and needed only the minimum. I left my wife alone to wait for the vehicle, and that's when they pounced. She called me and I returned immediately and demanded that they take it off the lift and do none of the work. They ended up doing almost ALL the work for $200. Yeah.
The trick is to never deal with strangers- find a good honest mechanic (yeah- where?) and pay them a LOT to take care of you. Last Friday one of usual shops wanted $40 to put NITROGEN in my tires (they don't deflate as fast). It's always something.
I have had several honest shops tell me my brakes were fine and didn't need any work and charge me $0. Or tell me I needed a new air filter and could get it cheaper at a parts store and show me how to put it in myself. But the rip-off artists are always thinking up new ways to scam you.
Again folks, this thread was fantastic. I was visualizing many of you lunging across sales counters at each other, or running each other over with a '72 Olds Cutlass V8. This site is FUN!!!

As entertaining as this thread has been, I believe I have to stop trying to follow it. It's just too difficult and confusing.
If the events that Glenn originaly described occurred, then I would have to say "thank you" for his post(s) on that Tires Plus location.
However, like I said, this has been a diffucult thread to follow. Glenn's "style" of writing is sometimes difficult to interpret, and I don't just mean the name calling and insults. In addition, the way the events are described lends to much confusion. Even if we move away from issues such as the tires and why or if they needed replacing under warranty, the behavior of the employees, or the ball joints and why they were replaced when they (allegedly) didn't need to be, the remaining inconsistancies raise too many questions.
The latest being Glenn's claim to have recieved a check last October (even though he made his original post 11/23/2006- a month later), yet said he is taking them to court. For what, MORE money? If that's the case I guess it didn't work because he cashed the check after the supposed court date. Why wasn't this check mentioned before? Why leave it out? What else has been left out?
In addition Glenn first claims this check came from FLA, then it's from Texas...
*sigh* I give up.

Now, please post the PROOF you refer to, of Glenn and his amzing check. You know...the one from two different states, and recieved 1 month prior to posting originally, and 3 months prior to going to Court.
Please post this PROOF you speak of. And Glenn...scan and post the check.
You can't. You never got one. You'd have cashed a 39 cent check in order to buy a stamp. The odds of you holding a check for some fictitious legal claim is NIL.
Scan the check and post it. After that, post the PROOF of winning.
One more thing. I take no umbrage in being compared to the writing style of Leticia. She can spell correctly, and uses proper grammar. You and your alter-ego should try it sometime.

I thought I would check back in and see how things are going for Glenn and his family. I see the corporate pigs are still poking him to cause a stir. I am so sad that there is so many people that get ripped off by greedy corporate big wigs that could care less about the actual cost something like this could have. Has anyone actually thought about TIRES PLUS not honoring the warranty of tires until they are at a dangerously low thread?? Would you like to be on the same road with a vehicle that is "backed by Tires Plus"?
I am thankful that there is a venue such as this for consumers to voice their experiences so we can all band together and put places like this out of business.
Glenn, you have always seemed sincere and truthful and don't worry about the negative feedback or name calling. It just proves that they express themselves on here like they back their work up. (like crap)
P.S. Your story reads pretty easily for me. You spent money and time at Tires Plus. You asked them to honor your warranty, they tried to scam you. Pretty simple.

This is almost the longest thread I have ever seen on here. What's worse is you can only understand about half of the rebuttles. The rest are just jibberish.
I agree with John..what a headache. I cannot even follow who is on Glenns side and who isn't. And why does everyone always think that Robert is either working for the company mentioned, or now he posts as different people as well?
Michelle's post confuse me..are two people posting? First I see "my boyfriend" then I see "my girlfriend" the "one of my boyfriends" it's impossible to keep up. But whichever one said -- hey i got an idea why dont you give your fingers a rest and do your "mechanic" job that you so call have. its pretty bad when you have to check every tires plus case and tell people they dont know what the hell there talking about. any buddy that knows anything about cars is always a "arm chair mechanic" thanks for your input but no one cares about your opinion.-- has turned out to be quite the arm chair mechanic..talking about some other shop and being a mechanic an all.
And who was typing here? --all of you tires plus employees are so funny you all have your wife's or girlfriends type for you is that because you never completed grade school and have no clue how to type? wayne's case was thrown out because it was ridiculous. theres not enough hours in he day for this right wayne? is that because your always in court? glenn finds humor in all of your replies so keep writing.he just makes you all look dumb.-- YOU cannot type! So you should have your wife, or gf, type for you. (Unless you are the gf, then let your boyfriend try typing)
From following along for quite some time, I can tell you that Glenn is not making ANYONE look dumb. Lol this is crazy. Goodnite.

I to have sent rebuttals since Glenn's postings that have not posted. Glenn had a commercial ladder rack on his truck with many ladders and he never had proof of ever having his tires rotated after owning them. At any shop they remind you to have your tires rotated usually with your oil changes. He is leaving that important information out. When you don't maintain what you purchased and don't follow the the golden rule about rotating your tires it voids your warranty. Now the check Glenn is referring to, Tires plus offered him a check for 500.00, because it costed more to have two lawyers, Wayne and two of his employees show up to court then to make an offer. Glenn held onto the check until the court date and was hoping to win his 7500.00 claim he was making, because if he would have cashed the check then that would have meant he accepted the deal of 500.00. Well what Glenn isn't telling all of you is that the check was cancelled the second he entered the court room. When Wayne, the one lawyer, and the two employees entered the court room the other lawyer stayed out for a second and cancelled the check.
Glenn has since tried filing suits against the other Tires Plus stores, even the one he had the work done at and they were thrown out. This whole situation with Glenn and his wife was caught on tape, that has sound, from the stores security's system. Glenn the camera never lies.

Glenn,
You have lost all credibility here for a multitude of reasons I have posted previously. However, when a company give a settlement to someone in lieu fo going to court, they don't just hand you a check, a lawyer is involved and they always ask you to sign a waiver which precludes you from going after them for more money after accepting a settlement. I highly doubt a company would give you a check for $500 without their lawyer involved which leads them open to more legal entanglements.
Add this to the fact that your original post and every subsequent response you've made made no mention of this check until your so called court date had passed and you were called out and the fact that you won't scan a copy of the check or agreement or court finding and it all leads up to a whole lot of hogwash. You got nothing as their was no financial loss in your case. You cannot win money unless there is a recordable, justifiable loss. In your case, there was none.

Glenn,
I don't know why you automatically think everyone here is "John"or an employee of the company. If you look, I have answered hundreds of reports on here, mostly about legal issues, and ebay, two topics I know the most about. You calling everyone a crackhead while mispelling every other word speaks volumes about yourself.
As for your claims, now you are claiming that tires plus just sent you a check after you said you didnt want it? Please post copy of said check. I'm also waiting to see a copy of the finding in your favor, or at least your case number, so I can look it up and see for myself. Or you can simply give me your lawyers contact informaton so I can call them myself. Your help would be appreciated.
But of course you won't give any of that information because it doesn't exist. There is no way a company is just going to send a check to a person without a signed waiver or other documentation. Period. And I'm still unsure what financial loss you were out. They didn't do anything to your truck. You cannot be compensated for a financial loss if it didn't happen. As for almost running over your wife, without proof or witnesses you have nothing, and since they didn't actually hit her, what were you suing for?

Ok Glenn, one more time. I do not have anything to do with Tires Plus, nor would I ever buy low end crap tires from a place like you did. I personally drive only on Pirellis. NOW, for those people and yourself who want to know why people like myself respond here, and why we question the voracity of what you say:
1. Glenn posted to a public forum that Tires Plus was a "fraud" and a "rip off". The purpose of this forum is for individuals like myself to read the posting and if we can help in any way or offer suggestions toward a resolution.
2. Glenns claims were questioned by a few posters with a mechanical background as what he was saying was unclear, and seemed somewhat exaggerated or something was "off" in his statements
3. Glenn posted his report on November 23rd, 2006. In multiple various updates by Glenn over the next 2.5 months, he never once mentioned that he received a check. However, Glenn now claims to have received a check PRIOR TO HIS ORIGINAL POSTING. The reason this is significant is if true, would be an admission of liability by Tires Plus and would validate his claim.
4. You need to have a financial loss to file a lawsuit. Period. The point of a lawsuit is to recoup your financial loss by the party responsible. Since Tires Plus didn't cause you a financial loss, what were you filing a lawsuit for?
I post on Rip Off report all the time, trying to help people get to the bottom of whatever it is they are posting about. And what I've found is that those who protest too much, attack the questioners, and whose stories seem to change are usually full of it.
The purpose of this site is to make people aware of ripoffs, and frauds. You claim Tires Plus is a fraud. Your refusal to post proof of finding by the court that they are indeed a fraud and liable for your "loss" speaks volumes. However, by posting in a public forum, or "fixed medium" that this store is a fraud, if they are not, or if they were found not liable for any loss, than you can be sued for libel, especially considering that there are at least 2 people on here who claim to have not gone to this store because of your post. You see, Tires Plus can now prove a financial loss due to YOU, and if you are truly lying, can recoup any and all lost dollars from you.
Please post any evidence you have of finding of Tires Plus being liable for any loss, or a copy of the check or simply the court docket number, along with the Judge who heard your case for verificaton that this Rip Off Report is indeed valid. Thank you!

I appreciate that fully. I know many others do as well.
Tires plus speaks for itself all over the web with nothing but complaints. I would suggest getting all the others who have been treated poorly and taking this issue above and beyond this forum. Remember you are not alone in this.
I would also suggest everyone to do a web search on tires plus and form a judgment based on the 10000's of people that have been ripped off. GLENN YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Don't fret about these armatures who are more worried about spelling then the actual message you are trying to make.

So now, the corporate office sent you a check, after telling you the store in question is not a corporate store. Uh huh. Never happened. TP Corporate doesn't reimburse anyone for anything that happened at a franchise store. That's why they told you to bother Wayne.
As for trying to sell you things you didn't need, again...uh huh. They said you needed balljoints. You acted like a monkey on crack, and they booted you off the property. The next place you went to told you the same thing. Supposedly, you had the work done there for $125. I'd love to know the year, make, and model of this vehicle that got 4 balljoints replaced for $125. Never happened. You may have gotten one replaced at that price. Balljoints should be replaced in pairs...if you do one on one side, you do both on one side.
Please pick one version of your whimsical tale, and stick with it. I'm still waiting for the PROOF you(and your alter-ego) claim is present. Especially now, with your claim that, according to your own stories, TP Corporate sent you a check a month before you posted(3 months before you sued) for a NON Corporate store, while at the same time telling you they had nothing to do with it(only truthful part of the tale) and you had to sue Wayne(Franchisee). Somewhere along the way, a crackhead got involved(I think he was the one who bought the tires for the vehicle) and a Courtdate was suddenly open less than a week after filing suit. That always happens. In reality, when you file a lawsuit, you get a Courtdate at least a month later. But, somehow you came to the belief TP should reimburse you for $7500(more than is allowed by small claims) when you suffered ZERO injury. Injury refers both to monetary losses, and actual physical damage. The Judge threw you out of his Court, and I am sure you went straight into "Monkey on Crack" mode. I'm sure you impressed everyone in the room.
My head started spinning again with all the twists and turns you put into your storyline. It's "Plan 9" all over again.

If we were to believe the first version of Glenn's story, he had a set of tires that wore out after only 1/4 of the warranteed miles(*) and there was nothing wrong with his truck or the way he drives it. So the tires must have been made wrong and a consideration under the warranty was due.
At this point I note that it apparently never occurred to Glenn to go directly to the company that allegedly made the tires wrong -- Bridgestone. His rage remained directed at Tires Plus.
Tire mileage warranties are pro-rated. Since they lasted only 1/4 of rated life, he's out 3/4 of the money he paid for them. Which is probably about $500.00 in this case. After some complaining, a check for $500.00 arrived in Glenn's mailbox.
Any sane person would've cashed that check and been done with it months ago. There was nothing to gain by going to court. Now he may still have the $500.00 but he got "dookie" from everything else.
(*) According to the Bridgestone website, most versions of the Deueller A/T have a 50,000 mile warranty. However, those with "LT" in the model designation have no mileage warranty.

Dearest Glenn,
I am in awe of your ability to bring discredit
to your own claims. I'm sure most everyone has had a bad experiance or two with automotive service. It goes with the territory. Your original story didn't make much sense though. Your follow ups added to the confusion. In the future, it would serve you well to sit down with a calm head before you write. After writing, read the story over to yourself and see if it makes sense. If possible, have someone else read it too. Make sure it's in proper form and expresses your views to the reader. Finally, if you follow up on the story make sure you go back and read your original story so you can account correctly. Do not rely on memory alone as this can lead to your story sounding more like heated revenge fueled by anger with no concern for the truth. Such as........11/23/06...He then turned the truck back on, floored it to the front of the door swerving around my wife missng her by a foot or two............Followed by......................
11/24/06...my wife went to the parking lot were the trucks was being backed out and started to walk toward the truck the employee saw her started the truck and drove towards her all the while she kept telling him to stop and came close to hitting her drove to the front door locking the truck so she still couldnt get in.... followed by.....12/29/06.......
MY wife waited in the parking lot (couldnt wait in the store) Your well trained employee drove the truck right at her missing her by INCHS maybe the cigarette smoke was in his eyes! ....
Glenn, do you see the holes in your story?
It's not credible. Ofcourse all the name calling and bickering while waiting for trial doesn't make you look good either. Bottom line Glenn,, if you want to get attention and entertain people who are blood thirsty and want to read an irate story full of fury,, keep up the good work. You made yourself look like a fool.
However, if you want to get your message out that this place is bad,,,, you need to make yourself look good. You didn't do that

I would suggest getting off the computer and perhaps actually going into a Tires Plus and checking out their service instead of bickering with every consumer on here that has a problem.
I think you may be the one with delusions. Glenn was treated unfairly. Tires Plus tried to sell him something he did not need. Glenn and his wife were smart to not just take Wayne's word for what work was needed and that infuriated Wayne. Wayne then through a fit and kicked them out of the store and subsequently almost ran over his wife. I don't care if this store is independently owned or not. Consumers see corporations by their name. If you cannot back up your work and your name and satisfy your customers then eventually you will go out of business.
In closing, you appear to me that you may be off your rocker and one of those people that are content in starting flames. Maybe a nice walk in fresh air will help you be a nicer person.
We are not idiots in Minnesota and don't need you to tell us the laws of Minnesota. Also your obsession with Crack is sad. I would recommend a rehab facility to help you with that problem. It also explains your anger.

-Why you discredit Glenn constantly without really knowing much of the truth is amazing.
He discredits himself by changing the story every post. Truth is a one way street. Glenn is trying to swerve all over it.
-It must be hard for you to cast your judgments from your computer desk.
Nope...very easy. It's even easier when Glenn refuses to maintain one storyline, and refuses to scan and post the check, or even provide the Court Docket number, so his claims of victory can be verified.
-Your wonderful dedication to Tires Plus is amazing but far off.
What dedication? I hammer on them constantly, provided TP is in the wrong. Glenn has yet to actually convince anyone except himself, and you of that. Michelle is really just Glenn using a nom d' plume.
-If and when you do find you that he did receive a check from Tires Plus will that make you realize that you have been wrong all along.
Yep. Of course, for that to happen, Glenn will need to provide the Court Docket number, or just scan and post the check. He never will, because that would prove he's been living in fantasyland all along.
-Why would any person come to this venue without reason??
I guess they do it because they get their jollies that way. Peter from Pony Alabama had several in here. Lynn from Colorado threw a few in. There's Rosanne from Langford Illinois. The great McNugget caper is a good one. In fact, there are more than 100 "goofy" threads in ROR. As for people like me coming in and pointing out the goofy threads, so what? This site was originated to point to the bad companies. Threads like this one does nothing but show what type of customers are out there. Glenn has done more to help TP's reputation than any of their employees ever could.
-I would suggest getting off the computer and perhaps actually going into a Tires Plus and checking out their service instead of bickering with every consumer on here that has a problem.
Good idea. One problem though...I don't bicker with anyone who has actually been wronged in some way. Glenn was booted out of TP for a reason. He acts like my Mother-In-law...no concept of how to behave in public. Any handwriting expert will tell you what type of person he is, just by looking at the style of writing. Police use them for profiling suspects all the time. If he didn't actually have access to the internet, I'd swear he was a chimpanzee smoking a pipe.
-I think you may be the one with delusions. Glenn was treated unfairly. Tires Plus tried to sell him something he did not need.
And yet, Glenn had the work done at the very next shop he went to. STOP trying to say he didn't need it done. NOBODY repairs something that is not broken.
-Glenn and his wife were smart to not just take Wayne's word for what work was needed and that infuriated Wayne.
No...Glenn made the claim that the work was NEVER needed at all, not just that he didn't want to take Wayne's word for it. Glenn then claims he had perfectly good balljoints replaced because the price was what he considered reasonable. Amazing at best. My hot water heater works perfectly...I think I'll replace it tomorrow. My driveway has no cracks in it. I'll call the concrete guy and have him tear it all up and pour new.
-Wayne then through a fit and kicked them out of the store and subsequently almost ran over his wife.
Nope. Glenn and his wife behaved exactly as I described..."a monkey on crack", and Wayne had had enough of their boorish behaviour. As for his wife being ran over, it never happened. That part of the tale has gone from yards to feet to inches. Pretty soon, Glenn will be claiming "phase technology" allowed the vehicle to drive through his wife.
-I don't care if this store is independently owned or not.
And yet, it matters. Just because you don't care, does not negate it's importance.
-Consumers see corporations by their name. If you cannot back up your work and your name and satisfy your customers then eventually you will go out of business.
Wonderful. Again, Wayne pointed out why the tires wore out, and why there would be no warranty on them. You cannot warranty something that is worn out due to abuse, nor neglect. Bad balljoints ABUSED the tires. Failing to correct the faulty parts is NEGLECT. Warranty is void.
-In closing, you appear to me that you may be off your rocker and one of those people that are content in starting flames. Maybe a nice walk in fresh air will help you be a nicer person.
That could be. When you consider I can go out during the day wearing shorts and a T-Shirt though, it doesn't help your case. I see it's subfreezing in your area today. Perhaps it is you that needs some fresh air. The furnace may be producing too much carbon monoxide.
-We are not idiots in Minnesota and don't need you to tell us the laws of Minnesota.
What law did I try to inform you of? As for the "idiots" part of your sentence, reread Glenn's nutty tale, and retghink your position. Really...do you want to be associated with him?
-Also your obsession with Crack is sad. I would recommend a rehab facility to help you with that problem. It also explains your anger.
My obsession? A dozen other people come in here and pounce on all the missteps in Glenn's stories(multiple since he cannot hold to one), but I am the one he keeps blasting back at. It seems he's obsessed...with me. As for my anger...well, we'll let the VA handle that one.
Give serious consideration about your willingness to side with Glenn. People judge you(every day) by the company you keep. If one in your group behaves like a monkey on crack, then complete strangers will assume everyone in that group does. There's a very good reason why I am offered jobs in various states, even though I own my own business. My reputation preceeds me. There's a reason my Mother-In-Law can't pay anyone to be near her...her reputation preceeds her too. And Glenn could very well be her twin.

HOLY MOLY!!! Put down that pipe Glenn!
BTW, "Plan 9 From Outerspace" was a movie. Am I the only one who got the reference?
It was Bela Lugosi's last film, and he died before it even began filming. The producers and writers never explained why the lead actor was missing from the entire movie. In fact, it relates directly to your story. Just like yours, "Plan 9 from Outerspace" made absolutely no sense either. Also like yours, the plotline kept changing, until it was just a jumbled up mess.
It was voted "Worst Movie Ever Made". I'll even throw you a bone and include a few treats:
Lessons I Learned From This Movie:
Funerals take place at 4:00 am.
Spacecraft developed by advanced aliens are unable to fly without wobbling.
Outer space is awful darn windy.
Pilots enter cars on the wrong side then just slide over.
Fat men rising from their grave cast a shadow that looks like Darth Vader.
There are "atmospheric conditions" in outer space.
Nobody ever just runs from the amazingly slow but indestructable undead.
Sunlight can explode and destroy the universe.
Revolvers use clips.
Uh huh. When those of you who have seen this abomination on celulose get done crying from the laughter(the movie reference is spot on), tell me how Glenn's story is any different. Okay, maybe there are no space aliens, but the way the story develops is just perfect.

The subject is tires bridgestone dueler a/t that did not come close to making a 50,000 mile warranty. So bridgestone/firestone having had problems like this simply threw a 500.00 check at us without signing any release we were free to sue the savage store to get back the money that we spent a year ago on mis made tires.
How anyone can say that we are not telling the truth about what happened that day in savage is not reading it with a open mind the story may change in anger but it happened like I said.IT was me in that parking lot that day an a mad 20 year old behind the wheel of my truck nobody eles saw what happened.OK.
Now good OLD robert You could not even tell the diffence between a man or women so that discredits your handwriting expertise .You have been on my post 15 times you sir have the obsession with me. Just a flammer with delusions. A joke is funny one time (crackhead)you use everything I say over and over.
For those who still think I am out no money I will repeat for the 100 time the tires I paid 750.00 one year ago wore out before the warranty. Now I know some of you are made to post here and change the subject ;The facts remain the same.
They ask wayne if he gave us a written estiment for the work we needed done he said yes but the date on the paper was made 10 days after it happened! He knows what he did that day and he still .When the judge ask why the date is differnt he said"I dont know for my own records I guess" the judge thought that was funny A women judge. I had bought a set of Pirellis for our '91 Camry at the Cincinnati Sam's c1992, and those tires wore rather fast, but they also wore perfectly uniformly. Since they would have NEVER have reached their warranteed milage, I returned to Sam's and politely asked about the apparently high wear rate. Sam's gave us a no-fuss, no-muss net credit based on the remaining milage not yet used as a % of the warranteed milage toward a new set of Michelins. We have used Michelins ever since.
We took delivery on the '07 Camry V6 LE with VSC on 19 Jan '07, and we now have 650 miles on it. This is one smooooth, quiet, and *very* quick family sedan. Most of the time we cannot hear the engine, nor do we feel that 6-speed auto shifting. There is a hilly section of I85 about 7 miles away from our house, and I tried the cruise control on it... this Camry sailed up and down those hills on cruise control without even changing engine RPM. The '91 L4 Camry would always downshift at the start of a climb and upshift at the crest- this was very annoying. The V6 is definately worth having since it gets 1 mpg less than the L4 Camry gets.
My big question, Robert, is that Toyota does NOT specify a transmission oil and filter change in the maintanence log even after 120,000 miles. The coolant is replaced at 100,000 miles... and the iridium sparkplugs are rated for replacement at 120,000 miles.... this all seems unreal. Toyota just requires the owner to rotate the tires and change engine oil and filter every 5000 miles....

Why does anyone care that you don't like your mother in law and how does that have anything to do with Tires Plus??
It is obvious that GLENN and his WIFE are together in this since they were both TOGETHER when this incident happened.

With all the bickering going on here, let's not lose sight of the fact that the reason why this posters claims have been questioned is due to the fact that his (her?) story changes every time something is pointed out to them. All Glenn needs to do is provide me with either the docket number of his case, the municipality it was heard in, or some other proof that his claims are real (ie. the contact information on your check from tires plus, or is it Bridgestone now, I get lost in your lies) and this whole situation will be resolved and Glen will have proven himself to not be posting lies.
Again, Glenn, be advised, that you can leave yourself open to liability for libel for posting untruths to a public forum causing a business loss of income. There are two people here who have already said based on your report they will not go to this tires Plus store.
I've been waiting for weeks, but of course you never will post it because you claim "your lawyer" told you not to. Can I have your lawyers contact information then? This way I can contact them directly and ask for this information (which is considered PUBLIC by the way)

The real issue is the horrible service received by Glenn and his wife by the Tires Plus in Savage. Consumers need to be protected and warned about the store. They need to know if there is a problem at the savage Tires Plus that Tires Plus will not stand behind it and will pass it off as an Independent store.
I will continue to forward this site and provide word of mouth of how horrible Tires Plus in Savage really is. Until Glenn and his wife state publicy that this has been satisfied I will do my part as a consumer and help spread the word. It is not fair to the customers for past, present and future to not be warned by the service that Glenn and his wife have received.
Ask yourself this? What if it was your wife or daughter, grandmother that was almost run over? Would you let it drop? What if you spent your hard earned money on crappy tires that could possibly caused an accident and hurt someone? Would you want justice? An apology? Think about it.
Boycott Savage Tires Plus. Write to Tires plus and ask them what their stand is on honoring warranties? I have wrote several times and guess what, NOT ONE RESPONSE. Speaks for itself.
Keep this going Glenn and believe me, this is helping far greater then you know.

Speaking of Robert the hand-writing expert, if you look at your style of typing, both Amanda and yourself do not put spaces after commas or periods at the end of sentences. This would seem to indicate that both of you have similar typing styles. Almost as if the same person were posting under two different names. Not too mention that both of you have a terrible fondness for misspelling your words.
If I am mistaken, I apologize. If not, I'm sure you still will not notice where our skepticism comes from. That and lack of proof of any judgement, docket number of possible court hearing or a copy of the check you received as part of your "settlement."

Glenn, on Feb 9th, I stated
"Ok Glenn, one more time. I do not have anything to do with Tires Plus, nor would I ever buy low end crap tires from a place like you did. "
"I post on Rip Off report all the time, trying to help people get to the bottom of whatever it is they are posting about. "
The fact that you believe my questioning you and alerting you to the fact that you are opening yourself up to to a libel case is "intimidation" is another deflection of my request for the information I asked for.
Now...as for your post...
I stand by my comments. In fact, I'm more concrete in my beliefs. now. You are claiming to have received a check from Bridgestone in your posting on 2/12/2007. There is no way Bridgestone would ever issue a check without an investigation, which takes time, and based upon the fact that Tires Plus suggested the wear was due to part wear as opposed to tire wear and the fact that you did indeed have admitted these parts WERE fixed at another shop would have Bridgestone jumping for joy and you without a check.
In addition, I am confused as to why you are still waiting for an answer from Wayne or Scott. You've been reimbursed by Bridgestone and your case in court was dismissed according to you. Why do you still feel they owe you anything?
As for Amanda, if this posting is indeed valid, than of course people should be warned and this report forwarded, etc. However, I find it difficult to believe based on the following:
1. When his claims questioned by more than one person with mechanical knowledge, he automatically jumped to the conclusion that we all MUST work for Tires Plus.
2. His claim of receiving a check was not only not included in his first posting (even though he claims it was received PRIOR to that date) but would mean that Bridgestone was informed of the issue, did some sort of investigation, cut him a check and got it to him in the few weeks between 10/5 (when he claims to have purchased tires) and 11/23 (when he posted). Now, I ask you, do you honestly think ANY major corporation moves that quickly?
3. You claim the real issue is the "poor service", when in fact, that is NOT the real issue. Glenns issue was due to unneeded repairs suggested by Tires Plus (although he got the repairs done somewhere else later) and the fact that they "tried to run his wife over". I don't know if they did this or not, but without evidence, theres no proof and no case.
While I have no doubt that Glenn had a problem with Tires Plus, I doubt the veracity of the rest of his claims.

Tires Plus is the issue. Spelling and grammar is not. Those on here bashing see the definition below.
In Internet terminology, a troll is a person who enters an established community such as an on-line discussion forum and intentionally tries to cause disruption, often in the form of posting messages that are inflammatory, insulting, incorrect, inaccurate, absurd, or off-topic, with the intent of provoking a reaction from others.
Trolls can also be existing members of such a community that rarely post and often contribute no useful information to the thread, but instead make argumentative posts in an attempt to discredit another person, more often than not based on what they thought was said rather than what was actually said by the other person, concentrating almost exclusively on facts irrelevant to the point of the conversation, with the intent of provoking a reaction from others.

1. What was the basis of fact in your court case. What did you file the case for? What was your financial loss? Was it civil or criminal?
2. If Bridgestone did indeed send you a check for $500 to replace the bad tires you claim they manufactured, why did you still have the originals? I spoke with Bridgestone who told me that they would never simply cut a check. The process is for you to file a formal complaint with them, they would then order independent testing on both your car and the tires to see if it was due to manufacturing or mechanical issues. These would be filed and if approved, you could have a replacement set or the present day value PRORATED for mileage. And they said it usually takes 6 months or more to get that, not 3-6 weeks.
3. If your repairs were "uneeded" why did you choose to have them done somewhere else?
4. If you've received reimbursement from Bridgestone as you claim, what do you want from Wayne or Scott? Your court case was dismissed agains them wasn't it? If so, than what you are doing is not only opening yourself to a libel case by posting possible untruths here, but could also be construed as harrassment.
5. Why do you refuse to provide any validation to your claims? You have made very serious allegations (fraud, attempted murder/assault, conspiracy between two stores, poor manufacturing by Bridgestone, etc) and have yet to provide ANY shred of proof of your claims. Why? You claim your lawyer told you not to, but since court records are public information, I don't understand why they would tell you that.
As for Amanda, thank you for the definition of a troll. However, you missed one main point about trolls. They post specifically to anger or bother others. We aren't doing that. Glenn posted his claim here which is a public forum used to get assistance with resolving a problem from the other posters as well as informing people about rip-offs. Nobody here is posting simply to enrage, we were simply questioning the veracity of his claims, which when you read all of his claims in order, you can see the holes and changes in the story. His refusal to provide ANY proof is proof to ME that his claims are either completely untrue or greatly exaggerated.

Since we now have a discussion on how the tires would be adjusted out, let me help. First if you called Bridgestone first they would ask you to visit a Bridgestone authorized dealer. They only time they would ask to have the tires shipped to them is if the tires have been accused of failing and caused either vehicular or personal damage.
All mileage warranties are handle at store level thru the POS System at a prorated price. At no time would Bridgestone "cut a check " for a tire adjustment. If the store feels the tires warrant adjustment they do it a prorated basis. keeping the old tires until a Bridgestone technician visits the store and gives the store credit for any loss between the adjustment price and store cost. Also At no time would Bridgestone ask a independent shop to conduct test on your car.

Once again I have posted a clear concise post requesting information to try and help Glenn with his issue he is having. Once again, Glenn has posted a near unreadable post claiming I work for Tires Plus (I don't, I work for a financial company in NYC), repeating his claims against Tires Plus (without any shred of proof), calling me names which don't even make sense, and once again claiming I am not who I am.
And as for Rob and I being the same person, no we aren't. I have no idea who "Rob" is. My name is Mike Lordi and I live in NJ and work on NYC. I have posted on Rip Off Report for a long time and on many different types of reports. Here are a couple
http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff183602.htm
http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff234746.htm
And here's one with a response from me from January LAST YEAR.
http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff234746.htm
No Glenn, we are not the same person, simply two people who don't believe your story completely. I believe that your tires wore quickly, and I believe you went there and they told you it was due to a problem with your truck. I'll even go so far as to say I might believe you about them almost running into your wife. However, everything after that I just don't believe and your refusal to provide any documented proof to back up your libelous claims seals it for me. Your refusal to provide any information about your case so I can look it up on WestLaw, your claims that tires plus, oh, wait you changed it to Bridgestone now, sent you a check without even LOOKING at your tires (and in 3 weeks too, impressive) makes you look more and more unbelievable. As for why we haven't posted lately, Rip Off Report has been sporadically unavailable for the last few weeks.

You can put a fork in this one- it's done.
There is no real issue here anymore. "Glenn"'s story has changed so much, and has so many holes in it, that there is nothing of any merit left to it. Because of these falsehoods, changes, and inconsistancies, there is now no way to tell what part (if any) of his/her post is true.
These lies and inconsistancies have been pointed out to "Glenn" numerous times. He/she refuses to acknowledge them. In fact, his/her primary response is to insult other posters and call them names. His/her aim is solely to provoke other posters here.
It is obvious that "Glenn" gets off on the debate itself, not the content of it. It's attention "Glenn" seeks, and that's all.
It matters not to "Glenn" what you post. Your points may be well expressed and sound in logic, but they are irrelevent to "Glenn". He/she just likes to argue.
It's best to just leave this one alone. After a short while it will just go away.

Glenn,
Perhaps in making things up you forgot that people can read your stories....here's your contradictions:
Now you say:
The check came from TIRESPLUS which I have posted at least 100 times!
Yet on 2/9/2007 you wrote:
The subject is tires bridgestone dueler a/t that did not come close to making a 50,000 mile warranty. So bridgestone/firestone having had problems like this simply threw a 500.00 check at us without signing any release we were free to sue the savage store to get back the money that we spent a year ago on mis made tires.
I'd chalk that up to a typo except for the fact that you say bridgestone twice.
Also, in my last posts, I accepted that your "lawyer" told you not to post the check, and asked for the docket number of your case which you claim was heard and ruled on by a sitting judge so I could look it up on WestLaw which would give a summary of your case and the summary judgement.
This coupled with the fact that you claim Bridgestone just sent you a check THE SAME MONTH YOU WENT TO THE STORE (from your post on Feb 2..."Surely you jest Today I will cash the big check that I got in Oct. from FLA.") make me disbelieve your claim of a payout from Bridgestone.
No wonder your case was dismissed, if I ever cross examined you, you'd not only have lost, I'd probably get a judgement against YOU

Glenn, Is this correct:
1. The Tiresplus incident occurred in Oct '06.
2. Your first post regarding the incident was
Nov. 23rd '06.
3. On Jan. 24th '07, you mentioned your court
case was scheduled for Jan. 26th '07.
4. On Feb. 1st '07, you claimed that you had been "PAYED LONG BEFORE COURT."
5. On Feb. 2nd '07, you once again claimed that "Today I will cash the big check that I got in Oct. from FLA."
6. On Feb. 3rd '07, you stated that the check you received was from "Tires Plus Wheel Works."
7. On Feb 12th '07 you wrote, and I quote, "The subject is tires bridgestone dueler a/t that did not come close to making a 50,000 mile warranty. So bridgestone/firestone having had problems like this simply threw a 500.00 check at us without signing any release we were free to sue the savage store to get back the money that we spent a year ago on mis made tires."
8. Finally on Mar. 1st '07 you wrote: "Thank you ripoff for all your help."
You received a check from bridgestone/firestone or Tiresplus, depending on the mood of your finger as you type, at least 23 days before you even posted on ripoffreport.com the first time. So my question is, What exactly did ripoffreport.com do to help you?

Your glib response to yet another person who has pointed out that Glenn has flat out LIED regarding this issue proves my point. You claim that Glenn has "helped you" regarding Tires Plus, yet apparently Glenn received a check from Bridgestone because it was THEIR problem, right? Or did he get it from Tires PLus, his story changed, so I'm unsure. So how did he help YOU?
The point we were making in pointing out the flaws in the story is that IF THERE ARE FLAWS IN ONE PART, THAN WHY BELIEVE THE REST OF HIS STORY? What makes you think ANY of his story is valid if he is obviously making things up? My belief is that Glenn was angry at Tires Plus for telling him it was his trucks fault the tires went so fast and refused to refund his money. So he decided to get even, posted here and embellished his story. The problem with that is if the owners of Tires PLus can prove he is lying and that you did in fact choose not to go there becasue of his lies in print, he can be sued for libel.
It's very convenient that Glenn chooses to not respond to those of us who are educated enough to spot the inconsistencies and have the means to check on the rest of his claims when constantly asked for them. You would think if someone REALLY wanted to help others, he'd provide as much information as possible. If bridgestone REALLY sent hima check, he should be posting a rip off report on them for tires that fail to meet the warranty limit, but he hasn't, why? because he lied and got caught and then simply refuses to answer under the guise of "taking the higher ground", which is always a tactic by spin masters and liars everywhere. Attack the questioner and then cut off further communication. (see Bill O'reilly/Tony Snow, etc for other examples)

You should give up the lies.. and tell it like it is! IF Tires Plus corporate had sent you a check, you would have to have dropped the suit first. No exceptions! That is the way that it works, and there is NO negotiation.
Furthermore, as far as you, Amanda, it would probably be advisable to KNOW the entire situation before you go and call aperson or a company dishonest. Did you ever stop to think that there MIGHT be numerous holes in Gene's story (sort of like Alpine Lace Swiss cheese)???

Actually, TP carries several different brands.
I sell Flowmaster and MagnaFlow mufflers. If someone has an issue with me, neither of those muffler companies will refund anything to anyone. It works the other way around also.
"I see a valid claim..."
Really? Where do you see it. Nobody else does, except Michelle(one of the women in Glenn's little love fest), and you. Your credibility is nil, as you will again see.
"I agree with Glenn and his wife..."
You just blew it. Glenn has already admitted HE is really a group of females. THEY referred to themselves as "women". So, which way would you like to go Amanda? Since there is no HE/HIS/HIm in "women", how exactly did you talk to HIM? There is no HIM, since "women" refers to a group of females. Glenn was very proud that they were able to get over on everyone. Since there is no HIM in Glenn, you never talked to Glenn at all.

Actually, besides being guilty of several racketeering charges, all Glenn and THEIR group of females have done is made TP look better. If the only people complaining about TP are the type that behave(and spell) like monkeys on crack, it can only help TP. Remember the adage..."all publicity is good publicity".

Once again, not one shred of proof has been provided to back up the posters claim that liability has been admitted by either Bridgestone or Tires Plus. I'm not sure what Glenn's babbling was meant to do besides distract from the fact that the lies/distortions/embellishments were all caught by those of us attempting to help Glenn resolve the issue and when asked for documentation of the claims, nothing but spin occurred.
There is obviously at least two people posting under "Glenn". One of them is fairly good at expressing themselves and is fairly intelligent. The other one can't spell "cat" and spews some rambling in the last post, yet both claim to be "glenn", thus furthering my feelings that this is nothing more than someone trying to cause trouble for the Tires Plus in MN, perhaps a competitior.
I just wanted to put my 2 cents here at the bottom so that those people who are re-directed here by searching Tires Plus in a search engine won't be distracted by the lies, distortions, and flat out ramblings.

I.E. He is on this one fighitng with another poster
Here is one---
It is not shoddy nor unethical business practices which caused you to be billed again. It was your laziness in deciding it wasn't worth your time to read a legal "Term of Service" within which the company stated that you would be automatically rebilled. Don't feel bad, half of the reports on here are due to people who don't read a contract/TOS/fine print and then complain about it.

Yes Amanda, I am on here a lot, however, in googling me, I see only one result in the first five pages but hey, I digress. Let me help you. I try to help people when I can, but I also point out to people when I believe they are wrong. Since you pointed out the latter, let me point out the former (where I try to give advice to help, or ask for more information to give assistance)....
ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff237639.htm
ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff237802.htm
ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff238139.htm
I also want to thank you for pointing out that I do not work for Tires Plus as has been insinuated here, since you have nicely pointed out that I post on a variety of topics.
As far as an agenda, here is my agenda:
1. I try to help people resolve their issue if possible
2. I expect people to have personal responsibility, and if the rip off post seems to me that they are at fault, then I point that out
IN the post you provided above, the poster was complaining about being auto charged for Match.com when it clearly stated so in the Terms of Service. Here is what he wrote:
It turns out if you click on a tiny buton called terms of use when you sign up, and scroll down a popup window of 6 pages of fine print, which they know no one reads, they then tell you that you are authorizing an autorenewal indefinitely.
So this poster didnt read the Terms of Service but yet felt it was Match.com's fault and was advocating legal action against them because HE FAILED TO READ something. His excuse is that it's something they "know no one reads". How am I wrong in what I said, how is this not his own fault?
As far as this report is concerned however, there have been numerous inconsistencies, changes in the story, as well as statements that couldn't possibly be true as they go against corporate policy. Based on these facts alone I asked for more evidence or proof to try to help with this issue and have yet to receive it, although I have been attacked personally. I stand by everything I have said.

I will not bother to discuss all of the worthless posts and lies. I just want to point one thing out to "Ms. Glenn". Your wonderful use of filthy language is to be admired. Perhaps this lingual skill caused all of your problems.... just a thought.
In consideration of words like "Robtard" I would love to express my views.
I am the father of an adopted child who has mental disabalities. Or as you would say "she's a 'tard'". She will never mentally progress beyond the age of 13-14; very similar to you. She has the capacity to understand her disabalities and words like "tard".
Like any other person she is disturbed and hurt when she is mocked for her differences. Unlike you, she understands that the challenges she faces are not easy and are never to be taken lightly. To turn them into a joke is beyond insulting. Even with her problems, she would NEVER make fun of a disabled person. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED.
I must express my sincerest wish that karma pays you in full for your remarks. Perhaps a nice stroke or head trauma would give you time to consider your words. If only the mechanic had run (you, him, wife, husband, who knows) over it might have opened you up to a new level of understanding.
I will keep you in my prayers and ask God to teach you the lessons of humanity you so richly deserve.
As a side note, you have asked Robert to meet you face to face. I would like to ask the same of you. Perhaps you can come to Grand Junction and try calling my daughter a "tard". I promise you a very prompt response.

Here is the part that Glenn LEFT OUT! - It's time to own up to the truth, Glenn!
First off, Savage, Mn is a franchise store, and it is NOT owned and operated by Tires Plus, or Bridgestone/Firestone! Therefore, ANY legal action that you would bring against them would be against the individual franchisee, and NOT Tires Plus corporate! Bridgestone/Firestone also would not be involved either, as they are merely the owner of THE FRANCHISED NAME (sort of like McDonalds.. get it..?) Burnsville IS a corporate location, however!
Secondly, Tires Plus corporate did NOT cut you a check, and I know that for a fact.. Trust me, if they did, and it was out of the Clearwater corporate office, Elianne (the corporate risk manager) would know you by your FIRST name! And, she doesnt!
Third, Bruce Morgan has NOTHING to do with the stores in Mn, and ESPECIALLY not the Franchise stores. He is a RVP for the SOUTHERN region, which might have something to do with why your calls to him were not returned. Furthermore, that, again I will mention, is a FRANCHISE store. Corporate has NO and I repeat NO control over those locations, period, and Bruce sure does not want to know in that case! I'll quote you here"We have tried to resovle this problem with the tiresplus corp. office and Mogan tire and auto but will not return any calls.". What do you think that they are going to do for you? Nothing, because they have nothing to do with that store, other than licensing the name. Maybe you should have called the actual owner of the store that you are speaking of? THAT might carry a little more weight here.. But, unfortunately, you havent told the entire story, or the truth, or anything resembling the truth to the readers! Therefore, you would not have been contacted by ANY attorney that was representing both the Savage and Burnsville stores (that is a corporate location). You WOULD know the difference between a franchise and corporate store if you had actually FILED a suit in the first place, which I doubt you even did!
Bottom line.. You LIED.. there was NO check from TP Corporate in Florida.. and the rest of the story is probably a lie in itself. If you think that we should believe otherwise, post the docket # on here.. so that we can check.. (Robert, do you agree?). Note to John, a Tires Plus check would be drawn on Bank Of America, however it would NOT be from Witchita Falls, Tx!
-Bottom line. Robert you are 110% correct. This never happened.. There WAS no check, period, and I can back that statement up too... There was no lawsuit, and "Glenn" is a liar. End of discussion!

This has gotten ridiculous. I will not post anymore as this has turned into something that the original poster never wanted. I was at court with them. I know the check they got and they don't need to prove anymore to you scumbags. Your agenda is clear. Draw more attention to this story and "someone" will get a payoff.
I am disgusted with the treatment that Glenn and his WIFE received. Yes, I said WIFE. Two people. Hardworking people of America watch out! God forbid you have something that will help someone and you come on here to warn. The same three people will come after you.....Hmmm.... the same three people.
Why do you think that is?? I figured it out long ago. I hope you have as well. I will not participate in this any longer as this is not about the subject any longer but in hurting people. Bottom line, people watch out for greedy unethical business and if you have a problem with Tires Plus, be prepared to never get resolution.
Glenn and company...you are the main ingredient in this story. Let's cut them off and let them fight amongst themselves. The person that wants to "fight" you is ridiculous and very obviously a plant. If something offends you that much why on earth would you read the very long thread and take the time to register and post. I pity you.
Bullies, find someone else to pick on. I think there may be some innocent person getting ripped off right now that you need to start a fire with. Go do your job, SHEEP!

Glenn,
In my post on I said that I would go along with you, that your lawyer won't let you post a scanned copy of a check, and all I asked for is information which is considered public, specifically your court dockett number, date of case, and sitting judge so I can look up the decision in Westlaw to verify your claims.
The problem with you claiming to receive a check is it proves that the company admitted liability. If they didn't cut you a check, than you have claimed something which is untrue and undermines the voracity of your claim.
As for this:
Let me give you a refresher course on the names you called us in this thread."liers, flat out ramblings, distortions, imbellished, contatradiction, cant spell cat, unbelievable,LIBEL,untruths".
I stand by everything I have said. It's not calling you a name if you are lying, embellishing, distorting your claim of receiving a check is unbelievable, you may have commited libel and have spouted untruths.
As for Amanda,
Your claim to have been in court with them should be proof enough to everyone here that you have a relationship with Glenn and his wife, and therefore everything you say is tainted due to your relationship. You'll notice that those of us with no relationship with Glenn and aren't blinded by that relationship can see through the claims in his multiple posts.
As for me being a "plant", I want you to show the other Tires Plus posts on here I've responded to, because there isn't one. Here's some of the topics I've responded to (and I've responded to hundreds):
Bank Of America, Match.com, Washington Mutual, AXA Financial, Mike and Sons Auto Sales, Ebay, PayPal, Kia Motors, slumlords, etc.
So how am I a plant? I am simply a person who comes onto this site during my lunch hour or in the morning to browse the complaints to both try to help people and to keep myself abrest of scams companies are pulling.
As far as this not being about the topic anymore but out to "hurt people", I beg you to show me one of my posts where I don't ask for further information to try and help Glenn. Every post I have posted asks for information. Every response I get goes off topic with refusals. So if it isn't about trying to help anymore, it's not due to my posts but rhather Glenns and yours.

Glenn wrote "CLEAR I was threaten by chris so I GUESS you can tell people you PRAY they die or are left braindead is ok"
My original statement "I will keep you in my prayers and ask God to teach you the lessons of humanity you so richly deserve." Glenn - could you please point out the threat?
Glenn titled the report "dont threaten me"
My original statement "As a side note, you have asked Robert to meet you face to face. I would like to ask the same of you. Perhaps you can come to Grand Junction and try calling my daughter a "tard". I promise you a very prompt response". Again Glenn, point out the threat. Do you consider people responding to your stupid and insensitive remarks to be a threat?
Since you feel so threatened by me TAKE ME TO COURT. You are able to obtain my IP address if the authorities agree with you. Unlike you I will be happy to post all legal documents on this site for readers to view.
And finally, this posting was hardly about tires so it is the last item needing mention. This posting has been all about glenns hurt feelings. The "facts" change constantly because glenn is lying. He/She/It could not keep their vechicle properly maintained. To cover this the story needs to be changed as the truth was squeezed out. And still to this day; NO PROOF AT ALL.
Glenn, I will await the process servers with baited breath. If you have any trouble getting help from the authorities please post that fact here. I will make any effort to get this information to you so that we settle our differences.

Don't listen to a word of it. Glenn has never provided anyone with verifiable information that he:
1. Went to court (and lost according to his own post earlier, so how he now has "won" I'd like to know)
2. Got a check from Tires Plus/Bridgestone, whatever he wants to say today (and now supposedly they've given him ANOTHER check??? c'mon)
Glenn can say anything they want on here, but without verifiable proof and considering the inconsistencies that have been REPEATEDLY pointed out and the many requests which have gone unheeded for proof of his claims, Glenn still remains steadfast in his denial.
Well Glenn, I still think you have embellished your story with distortions and outright fabrications to try and gain support here. Sue me for libel if I'm wrong. Of course to prove lible, you'd have to prove that what I have said is in fact untrue. So if any of your claims here are lies, you cannot prove libel.
I find it funny that you have supposedly shown a check as proof to the people who posted here supporting you. But when I asked for confirmation of the check, the docket number of the court case, the presiding judge in your case and the date of your case you told me your lawyer said yuo couldn't show it to anyone and I could "look it up for myself".
We all know the deal here Glenn. I'm simply posting at the bottom so anyone coming to this post through a search will not just see your bottom line.

There are so many lawsuits on tires past and present. When I had the tires replaced , I payed full price for 2 of the tires and half price for the other 2.If I had know of these recalled tires still being sold I would not have bought them in the first place.
Now less then 6 months later I am watching the same tires dissipate again, the same as the original.Yet the tiresplus corp. still sells them and they are not cheap 200 dollars per for a F -150 truck bridgestone/duelers.
So you think they as a large company that gave you a warranty would help. But instead they will have a"tech"measure (highly qualfied)to do this I can hope, now your choice at this time is pay what they deem you should or keep them until a blowout causeing a accident like in 2006 did in Fla. to cause 49 deaths due to firestone tires.
I suggest these dueler should really be a concern. You people must be cold blooded, instead of refunds you will fight each little case with lawyers that you pay millons, when you could prevent it by listening to people ,not having a rude women in charge telling people call someone eles it is not of our concern.
I have not once in my hundreds of calls spoken to one rational person nobody returns calls or e-mails EVER.All I want is a full refund for the tires so I can buy safe tires.I will never forget how the savage tiresplus tried to run me over because I wanted to leave.
I will keep you in my prayers and ask God to teach you lessons of humanity you richly deserve.Maybe karma will visit you, because a tire blowout may cause you an accident and then you will see my side of this problem. There has to be somebody out there in this corp. that will stop blameing everyone eles and step up to the plate, and call me.

"Dont any of you do any research before you attack?"
Yes, and that is why you cannot maintain the same story twice.
"All the cares about is being the last one to post.I will only anwser like I said ,to somebody that knows what this is about.Elianne you know I spoke to you on the phone."
Did she talk to a man, or one of the many "women" who call themselves Glenn?
"I was told by you it was a check for no reason;just to be nice . Even when you where 2000 miles away when it happened.Let me refresh your mind, and just for a second. It could have been you that was throw out of the store by a man running at you yelling get out of my store. You would leave as so as you could like I tried to do but young man driving my truck thought it would impress he co-workers to make a run at me in the parking lot."
Wait Glenn...you said it was your wife that almost got ran over. Wait...you later said you're all "women" posting as Glenn...whoever she is.
"NOW do YOU call that service or do think that is how tiresplus should treat people. Its appalling to say the least. It has bothered me ever since. We can end this or keep it going on and on and on."
It would end if you would just post the information we have all asked for. None of the information is restricted in any way...other than the fact it doesn't really exist.
"A brother of mine in 03 went to get a brake job at tiresplus,as he drove away two blocks down the road he had no breaks, ran off the road hitting a sign. When he looked he saw they had not put the bleeders back."
Nope, did not happen. If the bleeders were not in the calipers/wheel cylinders/ABS unit, the vehicle would never have stopped, or slowed down. In fact, when he pushed on the brake pedal prior to starting the vehicle(the PROPER way to do it), the pedal would have gone straight to the floor. Only a total doofus would have ignored it. He's related to you, right?
"He didnt talk to the corp. or canada over and over,he walked back to the store(6.5ft.250+) pulled the manager out back; well lets just say express his feeling on his head."
Sure he did. And your brother is out of prison when?
"The golden rule do on to others as you would have them do on to you."
Does that include acting like a monkey on crack.
"You have all my phone #s cann we take care of? this matter soon PLEASE.SORRY 500$ CHECK IS JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR WHAT WE WENT THOUGH!"
You apparently went through nothing. The Judge told you that, we've told you that...everyone has told you that. perhaps if you had gone through something, things would have turned out differently for you and the rest of the gals in your group.

So all I can think to say about your situation is that you must be in desperate need for money to be attempting to sue Tires Plus over such utter nonsense. And with all the mindless postings you've made, I would suggest you seek some help (a therapist or anger management). Also I see that this has been going on for months now, and you've responded to every single rebuttal. Yet in your most recent post on 3/25/2007 you state:
"SO that explains why 11,000 miles later,my tires wore out, balljoints ,idler, because of tiresplus ."
However, according to YOU 5 months ago, there was nothing wrong with your ball joints at the time you had your tires replaced. So once again you contradict yourself.
I'd also like ot know why you keep addressing things to "Eliane" when no such person has ever posted on here, nor has anyone claims she has?
You also claim in your post on 12/31/2006 that:
"I have everything that happen that day on audio inside the store and video outside (cell phones are amazeing)."
Simple solution to appease all us non believers, upload the video to youtube and let us know where to find it. Now this is not "confidential" and since you went to court on January 26th and your case has been resolved, than you can post this with no hesitation and prove us all wrong right?

Once again you didn't answer the question:
WHY DO YOU SAY YOUR BALL JOINTS WERE BAD IN YOUR MOST RECENT POST, YET IN YOUR POST 4 MONTHS AGO YOU SAY YOUR BAL JOINTS "WERE NOT BAD"
In your post on 11/23/2006 you state:
"In the end I had the truck checked in apple valley and the ball joints were not bad and did get the tires replaced: after 8 hours thats service for ya!"
Yet in your most recent post on 3/25/2007 you state:
"SO that explains why 11,000 miles later,my tires wore out, balljoints ,idler, because of tiresplus ."
And as far as why I haven't asked anyone else for anything....they aren't the ones making claims, nor is that relevant to your claims. You once again posted a barely legible post calling me names and refusing to answer the simple question

Ah Glenn, once again you do not answer a simple question posed to you....see below:
WHY DO YOU SAY YOUR BALL JOINTS WERE BAD IN YOUR MOST RECENT POST, YET IN YOUR POST 4 MONTHS AGO YOU SAY YOUR BAL JOINTS "WERE NOT BAD"
In your post on 11/23/2006 you state:

The reason why it's my business is because you have posted something to a public website asking for assistance in solving your problem. Myself and a few people have been asking you for clarifying information as well as asking you for verification on a few inconsistencies and you never answer and continue posting inflammatory name calling and irrational posts.

I think that everyone really does want to know why you're saying your ball joints were ruined by Tires Plus now. When months ago, that's what the whole fight got started over. The fact that you and your wife thought Tires Plus was trying to rip you off for new ball joints that you supposedly didn't need. So explain yourself already, Glenn. If you want anything resolved then you need to clarify this for everyone.
