I rented a 2011 Hyundai Elantra Sedan 4 Dr. Vehicle # 052370581 License Plate # CL4M466 Texas (Reservation # 44458433US5) (BCD T997000)at Sears Budget Rental, 303 US Hwy 301 Blvd., West, Bradenton, FL. 34205. (941)746-2130 from Nov 22, 2011 - Nov 29, 2011.
James, Budget Representative, examined the rental vehicle on Nov. 22, 2011, and there wasn't any damage on the Lower Right Front Bumper. I returned the rental vehicle a day early on Nov 28, 2011. Again, James, Budget Representative, examined the rental vehicle on Nov 28, 2011, and there wasn't any damage on the Lower Right Front Bumper.
On December 03, 2011, Avis/Budget Group created a falsified Accident/Incident Report Claim # 11B061156; Accident Date: 11/22/2011. Avis/Budget Rental Car Group falsely accused me of having an accident on 11/22/11 with the 2011 Hyundai Elantra Sedan 4 Dr. to get more money from me.
I don't think this is an isolated incident. Avis/Budget Rental Car rip off their customers by accusing their customers of being in an accident.

There seems to be a lot of complaints about rental companies that do this. I rent a car rather frequently but I've never experienced this. I figure it's because my nephew works for Enterprise and they can see I get the family discount and don't mess with me. But just to be safe, I use the video feature on my smart phone and record the representative while he inspects the car at turn in. That way, I'm always covered.
I'm surprised more people don't do this. Even if your phone doesn't have this feature (or even a camera) you can always try faking it :-)
