Enterprise car rental is not to high standards. Our friends car broke down in Barstow on our way to Vegas for a vacation. First off Barstow Enterprise is supposed to open at 9 a.m. sharp. The employee showed up at 9:15 a.m. We had to worry if there would not be enough cars as they have very FEW cars to rent out at this location. Luckily, we cot a car Nissan Sentra very newish. The car had 40000 miles on it and there looked to be nothing wrong with it. We drove it off and took it to Vegas. A day after that we too the car to Utah, about 150 miles out of Salt Lake City (in the middle of nowhere) the speedometer stops working, the pedal can be pushed all the way down and there is no acceleration at all. we pulled over and let the car sit, the car started back up, however the mileage was not at 15,000. How does the mileage go from 40,000 to 15,000, not supposed to happen. After that we had to drive from then on with no A/C and no radio. We went to our concert we had bought tickets for six months in advance, if we had stayed and let them come to us with a tow truck or another car we would have missed our prior engagement. We all know that you will not be reimbursed for something like that Enterprise would only worry about the car. We made it back to Vegas and finally the car wouldnt go anymore. We called Enterprise in Vegas and they were no help. They wouldn't come and "pick us up" or bring the car to us as the ad says. We had to call their roadside assistance to come and pick the car up, as we would not have gotten a replacement without turning in the first car. Very false advertising. We got a ride to the office near the airport off Tropicana. The people there didn't have the car said they couldnt help us. We searched the parking lot and didnt see the car. Our friend with us got very angry and verbal. Finally the worker said that they may have the car at the other location. Here is this car we just got it in, it was a one way drive from CA to NV. "It should make it". Well that car only made it about 70 or so miles out of Las Vegas and the same thing happened. we had to get a tow all the way Back to vegas and finally get car number three. This one made it.

Enterprise advertises falsely if your ad says "We will pick you up" you must do it. Also do not rent a car from them if it just came it. They should have someone on hand to inspect the cars enough then send them back out on the road. Enterprise needs to fix the way they function and Barstow Enterprise needs to show up to work on time. If a car needs to be towed by enterprise roadside they should handle it promptly.
