Indeed. I used to work for Enterprise and can verify your story. Enterprise is the most crooked car rental agency in the United States. And, yes, most of the employees are under trained, and inept at their jobs. When renting, watch out when you do the "walk around" of the car when an employee is marking the little "dings" and scratches. Make sure they mark EVERY one. Because they will CERTAINLY "find" them when you return the car. And YOU will be held responsible for the damage. And many times, this is damage that was done by an employee before you rented the car. They will add charges that you never approved, add the damage waiver without telling you, add on extra days, tell you one price over the phone and a different higher price when you arrive. They'll leave you sitting in the office for hours waiting on your car to "come back" even though you have a reservation for a specific car at a specific time. And don't plan on actually getting the car you reserved, either. As you can imagine, the turn over rate at Enterprise is tremendous. As the OP stated - STAY AWAY FROM ENTERPRISE !!!
