A & R provided a 90 day parts and labor warranty for the installation of a replacement engine in my 1991 Mitsubishi Montero. The engine broke down two months after it was installed. The vehicle was taken back to A & R, but they refused to honor the warranty. The Bureau of Automotive Repair conducted an investigation and cited A & R for numerous violations. The BAR also recommended that A & R should refund the money I had paid them.
The employees are both rude and unprofessional (Jack and Junior Martinez). They don't honor warranties, renege on
commitments, and lack basic communication skills. Consumers beware!
Stay away from A & R of Sun Valley California.
